Even though Tim and his team are located in Maryland and we are located in Florida, we were able to process the whole transaction and communicate electronically via fax, phone and email and close in very short time. I would have no problem in recommending Tim and his team to anyone. Fanstastic service from a fantastic team!
Description of Work: Tim Sutherland with Suntrust Mortgage was able to get our house refinanced with the new Harp 2.0 guidelines in less time (less than 60 days) than normal mortgages are taking nowadays with the stricter lending rules and processes in effect. The interest rate we got was competitive when compared to other lenders in our immediate area and the closing costs less than some of the other lenders too. When we approached Tim, the Harp 2.0 guidelines were just being published and entered into HUD. When we had tried to get any detailed information and costs from other lenders we never got the information.... but Tim's team provided us a disclosure detail up front to give us an idea of what we were looking at. When we got closer in the process to closing and all those details would change (better for us with lower interest rates and closing costs) and that was always communicated to us immediately.
