Teresa's expertise, creativity and professionalism made this project extremely satisfying as well as fun. She listened carefully to our goals and concerns and the solutions she presented to us reflected that understanding. Her fees are based on an hourly rate so we felt we had good control over the design budget at each step of the process. She was always very responsive to our questions.  Teresa was able to maximize the available bathroom space to create two comfortably sized and appointed bathrooms. The dream kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, two large skylights and a large pantry in addition to the improved cabinet space and countertops we asked for. The traffic flow within and around that space is now so much better. We have had rave reviews from everyone who has seen the transformed kitchen and bathrooms. Fantastic experience and outcome! We look forward to working with her on additional projects.

I selected TT Architects based on the good recommendations on Angie's list as well as her website and a personal interview. Teresa was pleasant to work with and her price was reasonable. I finally convinced my husband that we should use an architect even though our project was not of such scope to require one as I believed that using a professional would bring design ideas to bear that would really make the renovation "special". I told Teresa that this is what I wanted so I was a little disappointed with the product. She prepared three design ideas for each of three areas we were redoing. The designs were well thought out but did not contain those "special ideas" that I had requested. In fact, my builder came up with other ideas that were better so I did not use the ones Teresa prepared. Bottom line, if you want someone reasonably priced who does basic, but good quality work, Teresa would be great - if you want and exciting design or out of the box thinking, maybe not.

Teresa Todd responded quickly to my e-mail request for her architectural services. At our initial meeting I was impressed by the questions she asked, which were aimed at determining my tastes and my wishes for the project. In spite of the weather (snow on the ground) she photographed the location and took measurements of the existing building. Preliminary concept drawings were provided to me within a few weeks. After I made my choice she completed the detailed plans and delivered sufficient copies to submit with the permit application and to satisfy the contractor's needs. Ms. Todd was a pleasure to work with--- professional in every respect.

Teresa worked on two projects for us. She did a fabulous design for finishing our basement. Her plans were efficient, cost effective and made great use of our available space. Our contractor wanted to make a small change in her plan, which we called her about. It turned out the the contractor would have removed one of the main structural supports to our home! Teresa also did a small renovation at my office. She worked with the fire marshall, building manager and city permit board to make certain that her design was not only what we wanted, but also met multiple different and sometimes conflicting building codes. We were extremely happy with her work.

Teresa Todd was a joy to work with. We had seen several house additions completed from her designs prior to engaging her to design our new house. She is realistic and grounded in her approach to home design. She is a mother of four and understands real-life issues that must be taken into the design of a home that will flow and work for the family who will live there. We found her to be open to our needs and suggestions, an excellent communicator, timely in her responses and work, and reasonably priced. Our house is unique, yet fits in beautifully with the surrounding neighborhood and site. We would highly recommend her to others for their architectural needs for a whole house, or an addition to an existing home.
