Had a technician come look at our washer/dryer as part of our home warranty. First technician cleaned out a bunch of lint, and the dryer worked better, but still would take 3 runs at 1.5 hours each to get dry. Second technician came, said it was just old (15 years old) and needed to be replaced, but then went and told our warranty company that nothing was wrong with the units! I complained, and they sent out the manager, who just came by and told me that my dryer is working fine even though it is not. He said I need to open the ventilation duct, even though the exhaust was not connected to the duct the past month and the unit did not work in all that time. He told me the other technicians who came were not as experienced as him, implied that I must be lying about my daily experience of the machines use, that there is nothing wrong with it, and if I want to pay for a second opinion that is up to me. I already $90 for this diagnosis and hundreds for our home warranty for this purpose!! Makes me wonder if there is a trust between this company and our warranty provider. I am going to seek a refund for our warranty and for the service fee.

Company responded immediately to my e-mail. James came out 2 days later and took a look at the problem with our washer. He explained why the washer was not always spinning the clothes as dry as it had done for 8 years. He gave us an estimate for a temporary fix. We decided to get a new washer.

It was raining and the technician took his shoes off, which I greatly appreciated. I felt confident that he doing what he was doing. He had ID with him and the company sent me a text stating that the technician was in route. I greatly appreciated knowing that they were on their way and that they would be on time.

Steps did a fine job. However, they had to travel a long distance to get to my home. I'll probably choose a repair service that's located closer to me next time. It would be easier for everyone.

Deo provided great customer service. He came within his time frame and had the part that was needed. he went beyond just repairing our Whirlpool Duet Sport HE he also took out the rubber seal cleaned and replaced it. I thought his price was reasonable. I would hire Steps Steps Appliance Repair again.
