Skyline Roofing

Appointment was rescheduled several times, but contractor did a wonderful job.  Even invited my father onto the roof to show him the damage, explain how it became damaged, the repair work to be done and how future damage would be prevented.  Has been a year of rainfall and snow and the leak has not returned.

No problems so far

Showed up on schedule and performed all tasks.  he went the extra mile and took care of a few minor issues on different parts of the roof. I will use them again.

After purchasing $300 for attic fan and installation on Angie's List, I had to continue to leave messages for Provider to call me.  After 1 week, I was able to reach him on his cell phone.  We set up a date to have him come out and install attic fan. Once he got to my house, he informed me that my roof was too steep and that it would take 2 men and a few extra hundred dollars to do the job.  I agreed to pay him another $200, and we scheduled the installation for Saturday morning at 9 am.  By 9:15, he hadn't arrived yet. I called him to ask what time he was coming. He informed me that he was unable to get anyone to help him and that he would not be coming.  We then rescheduled him to come with another guy the following saturday.  When saturday came, a non English speaking guy came to the house to install the fan.  It took this one man 30 minutes to install. I paid the guy the extra $200 as agreed, but the Provider scammed me out of this $200 by saying he needed 2 men and a couple of hours to do the job.  And, I never heard back from the Provider to see if the job was done to my satisfaction.  I do not recommend using this company.

Excellent price and reasonable conditions of payment.  Work completed in one day, good attention to clean up by the installation crew.
One unpleasant surprise (resulting in the downgraded mark regarding professionalism) was the company's failure to notice (and quote) for the additional "porch" roof below the main roof of the house.  Skyline owner Richard Barr assured me it was only an oversight on his part, and the cost of the extra materials (labor being waived) was relatively minor -- but this was a disappointment in what was otherwise a good job.

I was very pleased with the timeliness, diagnosis of the problem and work.
