Excellent experience. The contractor arrived early every day and sat in truck until our designated start time. The workstie was always clean and tidy before the guys left for the day. They took off their shoes when the carpet was laid and they had clean drop cloths in the foyer and hallway, stairs to the second floor and second floor hallway to keep our home clean and protected.

I could easily communicate with the team by email and they were pleasant, professional and performed high-quality work. They were honest about limitations and had good ideas which we appreciated.

I would have liked to know that we were going over budget but in the end the price was close to what we had expected. In fairness, we had asked for some extras and we should have kept better tabs on the pricing. The quality of work is worth the price and we felt comfortable to have the professionals in our home while we were at work. At times we had three professionals working at one time and it was a full-time job from 1/31/14 until 4/22/14.

The company's owner, John Riley, stopped by occasionally to check on the job. He is focused on attentive customer service and he is very easy to reach when needed. This is the second time we have used Riley Custom Homes and Renovations. Several years ago they had installed James Hardie Plank siding to our home, converted a screened porch to a sunroom, and custom-built a lovely portico on the front of the house. We continue to get compliments on our home.

I highly recommend Riley Custom Homes and Renovations. The bathrooms and basement are beautiful and the built-in cookbook shelves are just perfect! Fine craftsmen! Not only do they do excellent work, but they couldn't be more pleasant to deal with. A special thank you to Bill Withrow, an excellent carpenter who served as lead of the project, for being such a gem to deal with. He really takes pride in his work and we are grateful for the enhancements he made to our home.

They did a super job.  John Riley is the owner of this company.  Price wise I did not shop too much.  But I do a lot of this work.  I just happened to be in this business and I have a lot of things going on and I thought the price was reasonable.  I would use them again.
