Working with Reico in Elkridge felt good right from the start. Our Designer was great to work with. She showed us many options for cabinets, counters and hardware. She was upfront about costs right from the start. She was very patient as the kitchen design evolved. The advise she gave was a huge help in the process without being overly persuasive. Our final design exceeded expectation. The delivery date of the cabinets had to be pushed a couple times--We're chalking that up to ordering custom cabinets over the Holidays. The delivery was 100% accurate and everything arrived in perfect condition. We did end up making one adjustment to the design, which required an addition piece of millwork that Reico supplied without hesitation. The countertop installers were efficient and professional. The cabinets and countertops are beautiful and fit perfectly. I've been through several kitchen renovations and this is, by far, my favorite kitchen yet.

Everything was very easy. We already had a design for the kitchen, so we just went there and picked out the cabinets and counters we wanted.  A project manager simply matched the cabinet sizes and accessories to our design and then coordinated the contracting of professionals.  We ordered over $14,000 in cabinetry which arrived about 2 weeks after ordering.  The 2 large men who delivered the cabinets were amazing!  We have a split foyer home and they had to carry a 36" wide 24" deep 84" high pantry cabinet up the stairs.  Very heavy and wide.  Best part, nothing was missing or damaged.  We went with Merillat cabinetry.  The carpenter they hired to install the cabinets was very punctual, neat, and did an amazing job.  Part of our plan was to have a large curved island.  The Carpenter(I can't remember his name but he was from Westminster) was very excited to plan this out as he had never done one like it before.  He did a fabulous job.  The installation only took a few days and then we had to wait for the counters.  We had a large 7' granite slab installed on our island(I think it took 5 guys to carry in) and beveled laminate counters for the sink and office area.  Both were delivered by Counter Intellegence and were installed about a week after measurements.  Lastly the appliances were installed.  This is the only part that I thought took a while.  All the electric was set up already and a plumber had already hooked up the fridge(non Reico contracted), so all these guys had to do was put in our wall oven, plug in the microwave and set up our outdoor exhaust from the stove vent.  Two guys were here the better part of a day.  The one guy working on the exhaust vent spent the whole day on the phone.  I couldn't tell if he was talking to his girlfriend or if it was "business" related.  They did a fine job installing things, it just took longer than necessary in my opinion and was a little unprofessional.
The whole project from ordering to completion took about a month.  We missed a few trim pieces in the design so we had to order those later and needed an extra support for the island bar, but everything we ordered came in quick.  Our project manager was amazing and very attentive to our needs.
I've recommended Reico to all my friends because they run the whole gambit.  If you need help every step of the way, they will be there, if you just want to order cabinets--that's fine too.  They have something for everyone, from super fancy stuff(out of our budget) to practical budget friendly stuff.  Plus, I like to try to keep local businesses in business.  They've been around a long time and know what they are doing.  It may not have been the cheapest option, but cheaper isn't always best.  A kitchen is a lifetime investment and something used every day, so plan wisely.

I dealt with them because they are the only ones that sell the type of cabinet I have. They did a very, very good job, I was extremely happy with them. From the designer to the subcontracted guy who came and installed, he was really outstanding. They have a number of locations. They subcontracted the counter tops and labor for putting in the cabinets. The designer personally came out to the house, a couple of times actually, there was an issue with the knobs on one of the cabinets. She came out and made sure the knobs were installed properly. I had a problem with the shelves and she came out for that. They certainly took care of any issues, they were very responsive. I just can't say enough about the carpenter subcontractor that installed the cabinets. He was punctual, neat, cleaned up after himself and did a very professional job. I was here the whole time so I watched him, he was good.
