New Roof or ... I am willing to guess our family is like most, we really did not know what to do. What we did have was those ugly black streaks that kept getting darker and wider. Black stains that just showed up one day and kept growing creating an eyesore that I am ashamed to admit I know too much about and trying to get rid of it drove me Google crazy! As it turns out, it is more than eyesore. The consistent theme, regardless of what they name it, 'the algae shortened the life of my 40 year architectural shingles by feeding on the limestone.' The soft-soap-spray worked for two (2) years but at a price. It killed my bushes and plants near the house. We became truly worried on what to do when a friend inspected our roof and told us, the algae won; we needed to replace our roof. 'We didn't have leaks' kept running through our heads. Who can we trust with a decision that not only takes care of the black-stain problem, but truly affects the appearance of our house. Especially when you consider the steepness and size of our roof (call me chicken, but I won't climb on it). Thank goodness for Google! We selected Ram Construction and all we can say is 'Thank-You!' Not only were they professional, they were courteous and left the work area spotless at the end of each day. Warren Buffet places a great emphasis on well managed enterprises and forms an opinion of the management of any company before buying a stake in it. From Ram Construction's professional and supportive nature we received daily from Sam and his roofers throughout process make me believe Warren Buffet would buy a stake-in Ram Construction. Need a New Roof, or any major remodeling around the house, my wife and I highly recommend Sam and Ram Construction!

We have dealt with many contractors over the years and have had good and bad experiences.  The work has been completed and we will definitely be using Sam and Ram Construction for future projects.  To the point:
1) Communication was excellent; Calls made to Sam were returned immediately ( Sometimes in 5 minutes.) Important for construction.
2) Price.  The bid for the work was competitive.  There were no continuous adds on's for items that could clearly be seen during the estimate phase.
3) Problem Resolution.  If we had an issue or wanted to change something it was not an issue and things were fixed immediately or a conversation occurred why something was done a certain way.  There was no back pedaling if a sub did something not up to snuff.  Sam took ownership of it and the issue was fixed.
4) Quality of Work and Materials.  Ram construction used Hardie Siding for the house and all other materials were of higher grade.
Sam did not cheap out on materials to save a few bucks.
I would encourage others considering siding and remodeling work to give Ram construction a call for a least an estimate and the opportunity to do work for you.
My wife and I have another major project next year and will be using them again....  As long s Sam still owns the company.

RAM rebuilt the roof to include new trusses, electrical work, insulation and painting. We were very pleased with the work. In addition, their project manager was very knowledgeable about how the insurance claims process worked and was able to give us guidance on what items we needed to get together for paperwork, permits etc.

We had a great experience with RAM Construction.  They came in with a great price, showed up when they said they would, completed the job in the time frame we expected, and cleaned up nicely.  I would recommend them to friends and neighbors!

RAM was on site the same day I called, and immediately began excavating to find the broken pipe.  RAM personnel were on site late into the evening and early in the morning to get the pipe repaired.  Sam Alrub quickly prepared a cost estimate for insurance purposes, and kept me informed on progress and anticipated arrival of the various trades to solve the problem and restore my house.  All trades were well coordinated, and my house was restored to my complete satisfaction.

My whole experience went very well. What I did like was that I could reach him if I had questions. What I did not like was that after the job was done if I had little issues he was not so available or prompt.

They showed up on time.  They did great work.  They didn’t leave until it was done which is good.  That’s pretty much it.  We will use their services again in the future.
