Fantastic! I now have an energy efficient HVAC system. Chris the owner did an excellent job with the estimate and once I accepted, with the details of the job itself. Mark the HVAC tech did an awesome job getting the new system to work just right! I couldn’t be happier. If you need any HVAC work done this is the business to hire. Our HVAC is ancient and Pro Tech has kept us going through two summers and, now, the heat going up during the coldest weekend yet this year. Chris, et al, are prompt, punctual, professional and reasonably priced. Cannot say enough about this company!

Overall the replacement process from quote to completion went smoothly. Chris was very responsive. Installation was scheduled quickly and completed on time. Pricing was fair and Chris was available to answer any and all questions we had. Great service and company.

Pro Tech did a outstanding job with our install of the Mitsubishi Hyper Heat system. They took the time to make sure it was appropriately sized to our house, while other local installers made little effort to take actual measurements. Staff was friendly and professional, I would highly recommend using Pro Tech for any HVAC upgrade.

Project: replace a 20-year-old heat pump with a 4-ton Bosch IDS 2.0 system. Chris Mahoney, one of the co-owners of the company, came out to do an evaluation by performing a manual-J calculation, made a recommendation for a replacement system, and submitted a proposal the very next day. After getting 3 bids, Pro-Tech was by far the best proposal financially and technically. After I accepted the proposal, the equipment was ordered and the installation was performed 3 weeks later. It took less than one day and went smoothly. Chris personally oversaw the project and helped with the installation, and he came back a week later to install a return and run a pressure test to optimize the system performance. Communication was excellent, and they were always punctual. I highly recommend Pro-Tech HVAC. [*** Link removed ***]

When we found out that we needed a new HVAC system, we asked for 3 estimates from 3 companies. Chris was extremely helpful from the get go and his proposal was organized, easy to understand, and gave us several choices of systems. He answered all our questions and was easy to communicate with. The day of our install, the crew was friendly, efficient, and were mindful of keeping our floors clean. Even with a slight delay in the delivery of our equipment, they were able to finish just after lunch. Chris the owner called to discuss coming for an estimate for a new furnace. It was a Friday evening and he set it up for the very next morning. Once he arrived he did some trouble shooting and told me I did not need a new furnace at this point. He checked on various reasons why my furnace was not working and found the cause. As the owner of the company he said he would like to earn my business in the future and did not charge for this call. Wow! What a wonderful person and company! I highly recommend him for his honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

During the height of the cold freeze in December 2017/January 2018 our main floor heat pump of over 13 years died (air handler is original to house). We found Pro Tech HVAC on Angie's List & called them based on the reviews. Chris (one of the owners) came to the house that day & within 5 days (over the New Year's weekend) we communicated & had a new system (air handler & heat pump) put in. The crew was professional, knowledgeable & thoughtful. This is not an easy job - especially when it is 11 degrees outside. Our plan was to put in a gas furnace, but we need to wait for BGE to dig the gas line, so Pro Tech will buy back our air handler after that happens & install one for gas heat. This is still at a very reasonable price compared to other companies I have received quotes from. This company is by far the best I have worked with in terms of contractors & we are exceptionally pleased with the service & quality of product. No sales people to deal with- only the owners & the customer service is tailored to your specific needs. Follow up is impeccable. A company that cares about your needs & the quality of service.

Polite, punctual, & professional, very easy to work with. Responsive- very quick to return my call and set up an appointment. On date of installation the crew was there on time and finished their work in a timely manner. I was home with my little ones and the techs were very respectful of that. Would definitely use again.

I got a few estimates to have your central AC/heating system replaced and decided on Pro-Tech. Chris came to meet with us and was very knowledgeable and performed a Manual J to correctly size our system (something that other companies did not do). The pricing was very competitive and overall, we felt the most comfortable with this company. The install crew was efficient, friendly and clean! And most importantly, we LOVE our new system. We had issues before keeping the upstairs temperature consistent and now it's not an issue. Plus it's so quiet! Excellent experience from a local company.
