Mr. Ruegg wouldn't accept a deposit when I offered one.  When I expressed surprise, Mr. Ruegg explained that he found it was good self-discipline for him to await payment until after work has been completed and customer was satisfied. (Neither I nor anyone else I know has encountered a similr response from a contractor.)
Company had been maintaining my house roof for several years and  replaced garage roof in 2008. In the years I have worked with him, Mr. Ruegg never tried to oversell. He was content to patch and paint to help me extend life of roof until replacement was unavoidable.
I have recommended the firm to neighbors and friends and enjoyed excellent feedback from those who retained his services.

They did fine. Their price was the most reasonable.

The service was fine.  Two guys came out and it took them about a day.  They cleaned up well when they were done.  I would say he was knowledgable and does a good job. We would call him again.

Tom from Permaroof provided the lowest cost estimate for a full roof replacement of about six reputable providers.  He delivered the work on time and advised us of progress and things that came up along the way.  He advised on replacing the skylight but did not try to upsell.  He's previously been responsive when coming out to do minor repairs (BEFORE we had the roof done).   Coordinated well with HVAC contractors we had onsite.  Highly professional.  Easier to contact by phone than my email.

They were excellent to work with...they have an excellent reputation for work in the neighborhood.

It was a two day job. They installed a new down spout and were careful to match the paint. They provided an excellent warranty.

Tom is honest, reasonable, and talented.  He knows his stuff and he stands by his work.  I recommend him highly.

Excellent experience.  I did not even have to be here, but watched them on video.  The crew worked succinctly and was focused.  The roof was repaired, then gutters cleaned and the yard picked up.  Exactly what I needed, was told would happen and happened.

    This year's seasonal inspection and repair went very well, as always. The flat tin roof installed by Perma roof has held up perfectly with Perma roof's annual maintenance and should last a lifetime or more which is why I went with a high quality tin roof for the flat portion over twenty years ago.  Mr. Ruegg has given my roof personal attention and great care. I trust my gutter cleaning to no one else as once a gutter is roughly treated by gutter cleaners it will leak and need replacement and cause moisture problems to the house.

We have used Perma Roof (Tom Ruegg) for over 30 years for our roofing needs. 30 yrs ago he replaced the roof on my brother?s house with a metal roof. 10 yrs later he replaced the roof on my mother?s house, again with a metal roof. Both roofs today are fine after 20 plus yrs; have held up amazing over the yrs. with just painting once every 8 or 10 yrs. They should last indefinitely. Recently a bracket broke on one of my downspouts and I called Tom and he fixed it two days later. Tom Ruegg is thoroughly honest and reliable, is extremely knowledgeable about roofs; and only recommends what is needed. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend him for any job.

We got estimates from three roofers and chose Perma-Roof as they seemed the most professional and offered a reasonable estimate (neither the most expensive nor the least expensive).  They also came highly recommended.

Tom and his crew did a great job.  They were very fast and completed everything within a couple of days.  After they had finished, we noticed debris in our attic crawl space.  They sent a crew out the next day to clean up.  We have been very happy with the roof results and are glad we did it before the hurricane and rain storms arrived.  

They did the entire roof in one day. The gutter and downspout took under three hours.

I feel it went very well. I have maintainted the roof yearly and there have been no issues ever since the install.

It's an excellent service. It's a small company. Depending on their work load you can usually work out a price. I have recommended them to others in the past. They're not cheap but they do the job how it should be done.
