MR WATERFRONT

Through every step of the transaction, Mr. Waterfront was difficult to work with, uncooperative and generally unresponsive. Our agent had extreme difficulty getting needed information in a timely manner in order to complete our purchase. In many instances, information we requested was never supplied nor did we even receive the courtesy of a rejection or denial or even acknowledgement of our requests. We repeatedly asked for information regarding equipment, permits, county regulations, septic system, builder and appliances in the house, details of utilities, and other documentation and information and received nothing (including acknowledgement of our request) except the minimum necessary by law to complete our transaction. We asked about missing parts for some things in the house and again were ignored completely. Some appliances require propane to operate. The on-site tank was empty and it took repeated calls to even get Mr. Waterfront to have the tank filled so we could verify that the appliances were in working order for our final inspection. Neither Mr. Waterfront, nor any representative bothered to be present at any meetings or closing. We have bought and sold 5 houses in our lives and far and away this is the worst agent we have ever dealt with. I know this is not objective, but the feeling we got was that interacting with us was somehow beneath him and his staff, that this was some how not worth their time or even a modicum of professionalism despite the fact that this was NOT an inexpensive property. Unfortunately we had no choice since he represented the owners, but when it comes time to sell, we will not be hiring him. We would not want our future buyers to be treated this way.
