Great Job!

I arrived on a Wednesday and they gave me prices for the repair for the CD player in my Lexus 430. They checked with another company that provided the repairs, removed my CD player immediately and arranged for shipping, return and did the re-installation. I felt in good hands. About a week later, they called and I had the system re-installed. Would they get all the pieces back in and operating without a snag? Yes!!!! And I saved $300 over the price quoted by the Lexus dealer.

First I called other providers of this service and was told that the job would cost $350 and I would have to drop off my car for the day - next week. When I called Insane I was told that they would do the job for $70 and it would be done in 2 hours - today. Naturally I thought this was a great deal so I went to have it done. When I arrived at Insane they were very professional but they did not honor the quote stating that the job was 2 hours worth of work and it would have to be $200. Given that the alternative was $350 and they still were offering an excellent value and actually a more reasonable price given the service I elected to have them proceed. They did an excellent job, the car was done in 2 1/2 hours (another minor ding on their very optimistic phone quotation) but it is obvious that it was done right. If they had quoted the price and time correctly from the get-go I would have still used their service and they would have received straight A's. As it is I would not hesitate to use them again but hopefully this was just a one time issue.
