I remodeled my kitchen several years ago and was lucky enough to contract with In Home Stone.  All around outstanding experience.  Charlie has great ideas and is so knowledgeable and easy to work with.  I am building a new house and, of course, did not think of using any other company.  Their communication is great, installers are amazing, and prices competitive.  I highly recommend them without reservation.

Very professional from the first meeting on.  They honored a lower price quote from a different company without hesitation.  On-time and courteous installers.  They went above and beyond by figuring out how to do our countertops with one slab of granite.  This saved us a ton of money as other companies told us we needed two slabs.  There was a small snag when the holes were not drilled large enough to accommodate for our RO faucet.  They were responsive and came back out quickly to remedy the problem.  We are very, very satisfied with In Home Stone and the work they did.  Would highly recommend,

John of In Home Stone was very helpful during the months we took to consider various granite colors and patterns. Always available to discuss the patterns and sink options. The price was excellent. The installation was done in a professional manner, the granite fit perfectly. They did extra cutting to make a thinner granite backsplash for a kitchen island.

The job turned out alright, but there were lot of problems. They couldn't come the day that they said they were going to come and then the next day they called us and told us that they broke the stone that we pick so then we had to go picked out another one so then they came the next day and they did a pretty good job, but then not a really good job. They left a lot of glue we had to call them back and have them clean up. I think what I recommend is they have a big selection and the job ended up pretty good. I probably would not use them again in the future.

In Home Stone is great to work with. They helped us select the right stone, held it for a while for us while we made up our mind. Their installation job was great and they cut no corners to include installing a very large one piece section for our island versus cutting it up to make it easier for them to install. Very impressed with these guys!

In Home Stone did a fabulous job for us. We received thorough assistance on every aspect of the job from granite selection to polish of the finished product. In Home Stone went above and beyond in accommodating scheduling of the job. We definitely recommend this company and will use them again in future if there is a need.

This is the third time I have used In-Home Stone and once again, I couldn't be happier! This time around, for my new house, I decided to do some comparison shopping and I looked at other granite companies, too.
In Home Stone has a medium amount of large slabs to look at, but the selection was great in that, the stones were not all the same old stuff you see everywhere else. However; they will refer you to large warehouses in the area if you don't see exactly what you want @ In Home Stone. Once again, I found an amazing granite at In Home Stone's warehouse and purchased it.
This time, I asked many more questions. Charlie, the owner, was patient and explained: 1) They will polish the underside of the granite so it will feel smooth to the touch when your fingers wrap around the lip of the granite. This is rarely done elsewhere.  2) the seam is almost invisible, about 1/16" - 1/32" thick and extremely smooth! They were able to do one continuous run without a seam until the granite got to the sink. (I was lucky, my slab was extra long.) 3) I was asked to come in for the templating and asked which part of the stone I wanted to emphasize. (this is DEFINITELY not the case with other companies, who told me that they would email me two copies of the templating from which to choose.) 4) The sink I purchased elsewhere, fits like a glove. 5) I wanted my breakfast bar to cantilever out without wooden brackets supporting the granite. Charlie suggested heavy duty steel "L" brackets.  When the men were installing them, they cut into the underneath drywall, so once my husband repairs the drywall, they will not be visible. The brackets are practically invisible unless somebody makes an effort to look directly under the granite.
The man taking the measurements was very meticulous. He asked me what size radius I wanted on my exposed corners and had templates to show me how it would look.
The installation went very smoothly.  Again, the men were meticulous when placing the granite and using silicon. The granite fits perfectly!!  Once the men were done, they sealed the granite and explained to me how to take care of it. They cleaned up afterwards. We are so very please once again! We have already received rave comments from our family @ Easter!
This is a busy granite company and you may have to be patient for them to get to you, but it is well worth that slight annoyance.

I went and picked out my slab for a bathroom makeover in February and put a hold on it.  When the bathroom was ready for the vanity top, I went back in March with my template.  They couldn't find my slab and said that it wasn't put on hold because I didn't put down a deposit.  I specifically asked them if I needed to put down a deposit in Feb and they said 'no' because I was working with the vanity company that referred me to them.  They called later that day and miraculously 'found' it.  It had been misfiled and mislabeled.  They didn't even have the correct color in my file that I had picked out.  The work took 2 weeks instead of the 1 week they had promised originally.  When finished, it was incorrect (they had cut and polished the wrong sides of the top).  I had to take it back and they couldn't fix it that day, but promised to have it completed and delivered by the following morning.  Noon rolled around the next day and no one could tell me when it would be finished.  It was delivered that day around 4:30.  When I originally picked it up, they told me the top was sealed but after it was installed, I could tell it had not been (the water seeped right into the stone) or if they did seal it, they did an extremely poor job,  so I had to seal it myself.   Definitely would not use this company again.

From the moment I walked into In Home Stones showroom I received the best advice, knowledge and service of any other of the many stores I tried.  The pricing was better than the competition, but there was no comparison when it came to the selection,

Several of our friends had used them and I should have just listened to them, but I spent the time shopping, and it was a waste of time.  Every step in the process went smoothly including a perfect on time installation.  We have since used them to do a beautiful backsplash and now they do tile and we are in the process having them do 2 small bathrooms.

There were some cracks, they came out and fixed them now, and the plumbing wasn't done right but they fixed that too so overall it was good.

We bought a remnant piece of granite in January that would be big enough for a double sink, a shower seat, and a piece to top a knee wall.  We chose floor and wall tile to coordinate with the granite.  When our contractor finished building the shower and was ready to have some granite cut to cover the top of a kneewall and a shower seat, I went to In Home Stone to inform them about the measurements, but we couldn't find the remnant that we bought in January until one of the salespeople found that another "sold" sticker was put on top of my "sold"sticker.  We thought the problem was remedied as a sign was put on the remnant to speak with this particular salesperson before any cutting was done.  The two pieces of granite were cut and delivered along with our tile.  The tile installer installed both pieces and completed the tiling of the floor, walls, and shower.  After our contractor installed the vanity cabinets, In Home stone sent someone to template the granite countertop.  It was supposed to be installed on May 8th, but the installers were delayed on another project and it couldn't be installed until May 9th.  When the installers put in the countertop on May 9th, it was the wrong granite - not the remnant piece that we chose in January that had our "sold" sticker on it.  We called the owner of In Home Stone and he came to our house and agreed that the granite was wrong.  He went back to the warehouse and called us to tell us that he found the remnant and would have the correct countertop installed when we returned from our vacation.  The new countertop was installed on 5/28/13, but it was wrong again.  Again, we called the owner and he agreed that it was the wrong granite.  We went down to In Home Stone and went through all the remnants on the property.  We found a remnant that was just big enough for our countertop and it was cut and installed the following week.  The granite was correct, but it had a 1/2" gap in the back by the wall.  The gap would be covered by backsplash and a piece of trim would be placed to cover the gap at the back of the cabinet that was installed on top of the countertop.  The owner was very apologetic about all the confusion and gave us a $250 discount for all our inconveniences.

After searching many granite suppliers we chose In Home Stone.  They had a nice selection that you could see in their warehouse located behind their office.  I was able to view there pieces a few times and was told when new granite was coming in. When they came to measure we were asked to add a bar area which they added on.   We did have an issue that on the installation day the granite came in the wrong size.  They were able to remake it within a few days so we were not set back to bad.  The installation crew was great, quick and efficient.  I worked with Charlie who always answered my questions and concerns.  I would recommend them.

I have used In Home Stone for another house and they were great. They have a nice selection, and my builder only used them. He had never had a problem with IHS before. For this job, I needed a two sink counter top for a bathroom vanity and a small slab of granite for a fireplace. I was able to select a remnant form their scrap yard for the countertop, and paid for it. When I called to schedule the install, they had sold my scrap to someone else. They let me pick a new slab from a fresh full slab, so that was all fine, though I was a little aggravated. When they delivered the vanity top, they had my rectangular sinks (which I had dropped off so they could cut the sink holes at the shop), but the holes they cut were for round sinks. Back to the shop for that. Another new slab, more days off work waiting for delivery. They were supposed to bring the other little granite slab for the fireplace at the time of the second countertop delivery, but that fell through the cracks, too. I think we were able to schedule a Saturday install for the fireplace slab, so that was not too bad. In the end, I called Charlie to complain about the whole thing. He did give me a little discount for my troubles, but I have another bathroom and a kitchen to do, and I will think long and hard about using INS again. Again, they have a nice selection, and the guys who did the install were professional and quick.
