Glow Salon

I had a coupon for $110 off the original price of the services, which totaled $190, plus gave a 20% tip out of courtesy. I called the salon and made the appointment, but ended up having to wait several weeks to get in to be seen. Arrived at the salon and only had to wait a few minutes before I was gotten by the stylist. Granted, I didn't have a concrete picture of what I wanted done with my hair, but said I wanted to go blond and short, and low maintenance, and most of all different. She said she'd have to lift the current color of my hair and then she could lighten it all. What I ended up with is brashish yellow highlights with roots, she didn't even touch the red hair on the underside and now I have a two toned effect that's a bit trailer park. When it came time for the cut, she came out and told me that she doesn't do short cuts after she'd already cut my hair, and that I'd have to come back since the highlights were already done and would look choppy in short hair. She basically gave up and asked another girl in the salon, the one she'd been discussing weekend plans with, what to do. She cut a few choppy layers in it, which improved it, but I still look like I have a red mullet with an orangish blond mop on top. The worst part of it was that she basically threw her hands up and said there wasn't anything she could do and I'd have to come back on another visit during the week, which was impossible due to my own schedule. I'd been waiting for a month for this appointment, and coming back simply wasn't happening. She's young and I felt like she treated me like an idiot the whole time I was in there. Maybe a different stylist would have been more professional and who would have actually done what we'd agreed to on the outset. By the end I just wanted to get out of there. I'll never go back and will find another salon for future haircuts.
