I messed up the petcock nut on the hot water valve coming from a Takagi TK-2 tankless water heater. I called First Class and explained what I had done and that I had ordered and received the replacement valve and nut from Takagi. Later that day, they had Skip and his helper John at the house. The repairs were made quickly and these guys were friendly and professional. They even cleaned out the filter and made sure that the hot water pressure was back up to standards.

The cost was extremely reasonable and they were very responsive.

Quoted a fixed price for the job but later added a $450 charge for fishing the line.  Claimed to be expert in concrete floor repairs but did an extremely poor job in finish work, leaving a rough and uneven surface where the floor was once smooth and even.  Actual plumbing work was very good but that plus was largely offset by cost growth and finish work..

Bad bad bad service. Will never use them again. Where do I start , I contacted first class after seeing there truck on the street and got Dave. Which came out and gave me an estimate the next day. He quoted me mid priced compared to a couple other companies I had got quotes from, but I decided to go with first class because that day he explained to me that they never cut conners and the customer service is the best you could ever expect. How he was wrong.
Day 1. Dave shows up on time we complete the contract and I pay for the services expecting it to be done in the same day and it could possible go into the next day. The plumbers show up an hour late, they worked a couple of hours then left
Day 2. Same thing show up late leave early. Never brought the permit.
Day 3 no show because it was snow even tho they called to confirm the night before but couldn't call to say we are not coming.
Day 4. I show up and wait an hour and a half and plumbers still hasn't shown up so I call the office and talk with one of the owners (Mike). He was kinda defensive but called me back letting me know that the plumbers would be there soon and they'd stay til the job was done. The plumbers showed up and stayed until the job was done however left with 3 small leaks that they we're suppose to come back and fix and it's been 2 and a half months with no word from them. Didn't even come to do final inspection and I didn't receive the plumbing permit until the last day when I brought that to the owners attention. Sorry but wasn't the service I was expecting and I will never use them again.

Overcharged us. Their rate came out to be $300 per hour! When we complained and asked for an adjustment, they blew us off. Not even a reply to an email.

Our house had a sewer blockage on a Saturday. We called First Class
Plumbing and they were at the house within 2 hours. They did a great
job - fixed the problem at the agreed upon price. We would definitely
use them again.

I called on Thursday afternoon and was able to get the first appointment on Friday morning. The service repairperson showed up ahead of schedule, which was fine given that most providers I've used tend to run later than the quoted time. He explained what was causing my dishwasher issue, explaining how the drain hose should have been connected when the dishwasher was installed. He corrected the problem and then ran a cycle to test his fix. He also vacuumed the built-up debris from behind the dishwasher and cleaned up around the areas where he did the repair when he was done. He had a pleasant demeanor and I felt comfortable when he was done that the repair was done correctly.

It's a woman owned company and they did a great job for us and were a third the price of the other company I received an estimate from.

My water service line between the meter and the house had a significant leak. Water bill astronomical. I needed to replace it immediately. The planner/estimator came right away and the removal of the old line and installation of the new was done to the point that we had water in the late afternoon of the same day. They did not have to do a complete excavation thus avoiding destroying landscaping and sidewalk. Cleanup, patching the hole through the foundation, refilling the excavation and reseeding of the lawn up were completed the following morning. A return call was made after the weekend to make sure everything was ok and to tighten a fitting that had a very slooooow drip. The crew was very responsive and considerate. I should note that the job of refilling the excavation was done very well as there has been no noticable settlement as might have been expected.
