It went TERRIBLE and TRAGIC!  My bulldog died while in his cage waiting for surgery!  He was admitted at 8am to the ICU area. Premeditated (probably overmedicated) at 8:25am. There was NO monitoring post-sedation of Acepromazine, Morphine(26 mg) and Atropine. My Bulldog layed in his cage and the only documentation post sedation at 8:25am was an 11am documemtation of  "sleeping", 12 noon- documented "sleeping" and finally at 1pm found in his cage in full cardiopulmonary arrest. I am NOT sure why he was premedicated so early since his surgery was not occurring until later in the afternoon. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. I wonder how long he was "sleeping" in his cage??????. There was ONE technician found in the ICU area where pre and post operative animals are kept when my bulldog was found in full arrest. Obviously I am a dog lover and am posting this so that owners will realize that danger of having their beloved animals in the care, or lack of at this hospital. According to the ICU(intensive care flow sheet) of this establishment not ONE documentation of pulse, respirations, color, etc were documented at all since admission and post sedation. This is GROSS negligence! IF you love your animal, take them elsewhere!

Everyone was fabulous and took great care of him.  They are friendly, and efficient, and responsive.  They were good at explaining the options and didn’t pressure us.  He now goes to see the oncology department and they take great care of our dog and seem to really love animals.  The facility is great.  It’s neat, clean, and friendly.

They are outstanding. They have great technology and show they really care about your pets. They are very friendly doctors. They are board certified for their speciality. You can call any time to check in on your pet. They can even give you referrals for other doctors.

CVRC provided fantastic service with upfront well explained costs. We were referred to the surgical center by our regular veterinarian after our chocolate lab Chewy tore her ACL running around the back yard one day. Because CVRC has multiple surgeons on staff, they were able to preform the complicated surgery that my dog needed expertly and for a flat price. Everyone at the facility was incredibly friendly, efficient, and loving towards my obnoxious crazy hyper lab. When I walked in the door I was confident that they would do a good job. If either of my dogs need surgery in the future, CVRC would be my first choice.

Each time, the veterinarians and staff did a good job. They saw the dog promptly, took a history, performed tests if needed, administered treatment, gave written and verbal explanation of all treatments performed and of directions to follow, and made the appropriate appointments for follow up.

They have all kinds of specialists here who are board certified. The facility is top notch all around. What sets them apart is their emergency hospital is staffed by an emergency veterinarian 24 hours a day which some animal hospitals do not have which is critical if you have an emergency during the night. The price depends on the service.
