Until last summer, I'd been a happy customer of Cathy's basically for the past 7 years. Our cleaners have always been wonderful, our house cleaned excellently, and I never had any issues with the main office. However, since last summer - while our cleaner continues to be amazing - the office and management of the business has tanked. The office is non-responsive, doesn't return calls, and bills incorrectly and erratically. I'm tired of that and I'm done. It seems like the management must have completely changed, and or new staff is not trained at all. Either way, sadly, I don't have time for that. I half expect to be fighting with them over incorrect bills for the *next* 6 months even thought I've cancelled since I've been fighting with them about it for the last 6 months. Wish me luck.

I have had several mediocre experiences with Cathy Cleans. When it's done poorly, Cathy will send the girls back out to clean whatever they didn't clean. The problem lies in the fact that I make sure things are picked up before the crew comes so they can get straight to cleaning...and then they don't clean! I got home at 1:00 am this morning from a trip, and at 9:00 a.m., packed the kids in the car so we would be out of the way of the cleaners. We headed out of the house for a few hours, only to come home to a house that wasn't clean. The master bedroom, playroom, and living room were not dusted. The dust from this morning is still staring at me. I've given this company plenty of chances with them blaming it on "new girls". Well, I suggest you train them better before you send them out, and check the entire house before you leave. I am so disappointed. $100 and hours of a day down the drain. I would not recommend this company.

I just had some surgery and needed some extra help around the house. I had the cleaning service come today and needed basic cleaning like sheets changed and she just made the bed. I asked her about it and she had packed up her stuff, she had her coat on, so I asked her if she was leaving and she said she was just going to her car. I got myself down the stairs and went to the parking lot to see if she was okay after 20 minutes and she was gone. I have tried calling her phone twice and no answer, I have left 2 voice mails and an email, and still no response.

We used Cathy's Cleaning for six months and went through two cleaners. The first cleaner took an exorbitantly long time to clean and was very sloppy. Our next cleaner was much more meticulous, however, stole several items from us. Needless to say, we will not be using Cathy's Cleaning or any cleaning service again after these experiences.

The employees were non English speaking and one of them was supposed to be telling the others what to do. I felt that they did not clean as they said they would, especially in the kitchen. I felt they were inattentive, and the head woman was on the phone quite a lot.

Cathy's Cleaning Service is a family owned business servicing home in the Maryland and Jacksonville, Florida area. The office is open 50 hours per week. We have at least 2 people in the office at all times answering the phones. If any messages are left via voice mail overnight, they are returned the next morning. We work very hard to maintain a high level of customer service on a daily basis. So after reviewing this posting, we do believe this is an error."

not well-I gave Cathy's cleaning service several tries and spent over $1000.00 (about 5 times). The first time they sent someone who never cleaned for them and she spent 7 hours doing a terrible job. They sent someone out to inspect the next day who agreed and cleaned the house. This person did an excellent job but could never clean again because she was booked. I gave them several chances to find someone else and it was a nightmare dealing with the inexperienced service. Spending $275.00 for 6-7 hours of work was too much. Also, the company is dishonest. They would call the company from the car when they pulled up to the house to clock in and then when they returned to the car. This added 30 minutes to the actual time they cleaned. I was careful to clock it since I felt there was a decrepency.

Went really well. The cleaners were very nice and pleasant even though the house was a mess... They cleaned the kitchen, 2 full and 2 half baths, 3 bedrooms, and a basement. They vacuumed, dusted, and mopped. They did an overall great job.

I have been using them for over a year now and they come every other week to clean. They are very friendly on the phone and very easy to deal with. The first day the cleaner spent 5 hrs cleaning my 1300 square foot house. When I got home, I took about 20 pictures and tried to send them to Cathy twice, two different ways. Both emails bounced back. It was a very lazy cleaning job. There was still dust (and a hat, and a magazine flier) under the living room chair, under my nightstands wasn't touched at all, trash was in both the bathroom and kitchen trashcans, hair was still in the corners of the bathroom the floor, under and around the radiators was still dusty/cat hair. I called and the person I spoke with was very nice, made a list of the 3-5 problems I listed, and said the cleaner would be back the next day. Following that appointment, I called Cathy again since only the very few things I listed had been completed. I told Cathy I tried to send her pictures, and she said she had been having email problems. She said she would send someone else the next day, and to make a list of everything else I wanted done. The next day, the same cleaner as the previous two days came back, and did exactly the 3 things I had listed. After spending over 7 hours cleaning a 1300ish square foot house, my house was almost clean. It was 170.
