We had huge problems with the local company we initially used. The price of the project continued to escalate to 2-3 times the cost of what we were initially told it would cost. The programming of the system was a disaster; months and months of a programmer sitting in our lounge day after day trying to program the system, costing me $125/hr while he was learning on the job. Her could never even complete the job- HVAC sytem didn't work, all the programming was very "clumsy" to use- not professional and intuitive. He couldn't even get our front doorbell to work. When Steve took over the programming, he studied our system for a couple of days, programmed it off-site for 2 weeks, then installed it over 2 days, and it worked!
