They ladies did a fine job, when they came.  Over the course of a year, however, I was stood up about 30% of the time.  Of our last 4 appointments, they actually showed up for one.  I've confirmed the plans the day before, but at the time they're due to arrive I've gotten called that "someone called in sick" or "there was a conflict in scheduling" etc.  So, the days I took of from my job, to be there when they were scheduled, were lost.  Bottom line, they clean fine ... but they're extremely unreliable.

We have used MaidPro for 5+ years. They always do an excellent job. Whenever there have been problems, they have been responsive and quick to resolve.

We believed we had to do too much direct supervision to ensure rooms were cleaned to our specifications.

They were almost an hour late and I called to find out why. They said they tried to contact me but had the wrong number. So they said they would have 1 person come and then another one later. However, they later told me only one person would be there. So i had to sit on the floor for 3 hours. They later sent another person and offered me a free cleaning to make up for it.

I usually have a team that takes 1 1/2 hrs, but on the most recent day a single person arrived to clean 3 hrs. Although I wasn't expecting a change in staff, it worked out very well.

Initially we were happy with MaidPro.  The girls did a pretty good job cleaning and when I had a few concerns about products being used, the issue was addressed promptly.  However, over the course of approximately 12 months during which time they cleaned our home, the issues began to add up.  We had a light fixture dislodge from the ceiling, a product was used on the kitchen table that maintained an odor for over a week and the worst incident was that their vacuum cleaner broke while they were vacuuming the stairs and a piece of hot metal melted into our carpet leaving a burn mark about the size of a half dollar.  I actually came home just as the girls were finishing and they explained what happened and over the period of a month or so I worked with the manager to have a repair done.  They brought in a carpet expert who only replaced the damaged area.  He had to come back and do it a second time because the 1st patch did not match well and left a gap.  The spot is still noticeable as the area is not nearly as worn as the surrounding carpet since the patch came from a new carpet fragment.  We continued with MaidPro until one day I came home and noticed multiple issues, as if the girls finished in a hurry.  The master bed quilt was on sideways, there was an item of clothing thrown across the humidifier and in the master bathroom all the items from the sink were shoved on the shelf above the toilet, to include toothbrushes which were removed from the cup and laid on the shelf.  Again I called the office and the office manager was extremely apologetic and said she would pass the information along to the owner.  I had to follow up twice to get some type of response and finally they offered a 50% discount on the next cleaning.  At this point I felt they should have offered at least 1 free cleaning just to keep my business.  I politely told them it was time I took my business elsewhere and again the office manager was very professional and pleasant and said she understood.  But when I asked to have my key sent back I had to follow up about a week later only to find the key had not yet been mailed and I ended up driving to the office myself to pick it up.  They seemed to have good intentions but the service was lacking.

We have a team of 2, they worked the entire time on their designated areas. One was more thorough than the other, which I will discuss with the company. They were both very pleasant.

I had been looking for a service since my previous cleaning team was unreliable. I interviewed several companies and compared prices but went with Maid Pro because they received such good ratings locally. The first clean was exceptional. One lady came for the initial clean and spent 4 hours working on my 2 bed/2 bath condo. The 2nd time, a 2 person team came and cleaned. They were timely and did a decent job. Because this company seemed reliable, I recommended to my sister. By the time the 3rd clean came, the two person team were in and out in under 75 minutes. What bothered me the most about this clean was the company. I rescheduled my clean because I knew I wouldn't be home. I spoke with the manager and everything. On the day of the originally scheduled clean, I received multiple voicemail messages and emails because I wasn't home to let the ladies in. Each voice message was increasingly testy and the error was on THEIR end. I did return the email and explained their error and received a return email from a manager apologizing. Before my next clean, I had the day off and received a call from MaidPro. They were scheduled to clean my sister's house and couldn't get in. They wanted me to track her down. I called her, my mother and finally got ahold of her husband. He explained that they were scheduled to come at 1pm (it was shortly after 11:30am at this point). My sister was in Annapolis with her 11 month old and had to rush home to Severna Park to let in the ladies. Again, an error on their end and my sister had to accommodate them. I learned after that they had had issues with a previous clean afterwards. I did not like how things were going so I sent an email to the manager explaining my concerns (declined performance with each clean, scheduling errors, etc) to which I never heard back from. Seeing as how I hired MaidPro due to unreliability of another company, I have since discontinued my service with MaidPro and found another service via Angie's List and cannot say enough great things about this new company. They are flexible, competitively priced, do a terrific job, and I have the same young lady that cleans each time (and she is a delight!)

My initial call to Maid Pro was answered by a call center. The call center quoted a price to initially clean our home as well as a price to clean on a weekly basis. Although the price seemed quite high, we were assured that the service was excellent and that we would be very satisfied. We agreed that the weekly cleaning would be done each Thursday over a period of 6 hours. The price of $200 per week was based on an hourly rate of $33.34 per hour. I later realized that Maid Pro uses the services of a call center so that our Maid Pro representative could state that "this is what we were told by the call center" - without having to take direct responsibility for anything that the call center relayed to us.
 
The cleaning people were at our home for 5 hours during the 1st weekly clean, 4.5 hours for the 2nd weekly clean, 4 hours for the 3rd weekly clean and 3-2/3 hours for the 4th weekly clean. Each week after the cleaning took place, I called and spoke to Diana to discuss the issues that we had with respect to the service. Initially, Diana said that the cleaning people were at our home for 6 hours - as I was at our home when the cleaning people arrived and departed, I knew that her statements were untrue. Once Diana could no longer keep that ruse up, she stated that "as long as our house was clean, it should not matter how long the cleaning people were there". The problem of course, is that you simply cannot clean a home in 3-2/3 hours that should take 6 hours to clean. I told Diana on several occasions that the cleaning people were not staying for the agreed upon 6 hours and that they were simply "rushing" through our house. The quality quite obviously, suffered. When I asked to speak with the owner of Maid Pro, Diana told me that the owner was too busy to speak with me and that I could e-mail her with any comments. I asked Diana to have the owner call me. Needless to say, I never received a call from the owner.
 
We were ultimately very disappointed with the cleaning service and price as well as the very poor customer service provided by Diana. We will never use Maid Pro again and would certainly not recommend the services of Maid Pro to anyone else.

I contacted Maid Pro on Wednesday and asked for a whole house clean on Thurs. or Friday. I was rather surprised that they could fit me in! They have cleaned my house before, but not in more than a year. The cleaning person--Estela--showed up on time and brought all of her own equipment into the house. I was working from home that day. I showed her around my home, which includes a kitchen, dining room,living room, family room, three bedrooms, three full baths, and one powder room, and a full basement with fireplace, bar, etc. It's a lot to clean really. She listened to my instructions about paying close attention to my husband's shower, and not touching my husband's dresser. I went back to my office (one of the bedrooms, so she only had to clean two of them). She worked steadily for five hours. WHen I came out of my office, from time to time during the day, I observed her scrubbing handprints off of the door frames (something I like and some cleaners don't do.) She wet mopped the entire first floor and then dried it with a mop. My hardwood is gleaming now! I had no idea how bad it had gotten until I saw how pretty it COULD look after Estela polished it up. My house looks and smells very nice today. Estela was polite and quiet and pleasant to have in the house, and I would certainly recommend her work.

My experience with MaidPro was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. When I called to get my estimate the person who answered the phone with extremely friendly, professional and courteous. When they came to clean my home I was not there. When I walked in the door I was floored. My house was spotless. They did exactly what I expected from a cleaning company. They made my life easier. Another thing that impressed me was a lot of the details. My floors looked as if were hand cleaned. Each inch of my house was vacuumed, dusted, polished, scrubed and shined. I would without a doubt use this company again and recommend it to anyone and everyone I know!

Very disappointing. Service was reliable in that they always showed up, but highly unreliable as to quality. MaidPro sends a team of two people and they spend a couple of hours cleaning a small house. Our house is approximately 1200 sq ft; 2 adults, 2 cats, one crate-trained non-shedding dog. Before the maids came I always tidy up any clutter and put away clothes or any personal items they might not know what to do with, leaving them a clear field for cleaning. The service is expensive and is a real luxury for me. I happily anticipated coming home to a clean house. More often than not I'd come home and find they hadn't vacuumed, or hadn't swept under the couch or beds, didn't change the sheets, "dusted" by shoving all the books to the back of the bookcase and wiping the front inch of exposed shelf. Their "cleaning" meant that if there were books on a nightstand they would never pick them up to wipe under them. They were consistent in always folding the toilet paper into points--I'd have preferred they actually cleaned. A number of items went missing from my house during their employment; an antique watch, earrings, prescription drugs. I can't prove they took these items, but the items disappeared when the maids were there and no one else was. The last blow was coming home on a day when the maids were scheduled and we had house guests arriving. One of the cats evidently got scared and pooped on the bed. The maids just left it there. Would it have been so hard, since they were changing the linens on that bed anyway, for them to simply bundle up the whole mess and leave it in the laundry room with a note for me? Instead they left the mess. I don't call that housecleaning. When I've complained, the manager has been good about sending the team out again to do the things they neglected to do in the first place. Having them in my house two days in a row is not a bonus. I'd like the work done well the first time. If you're looking for thorough cleaning, MaidPro is not for you. I would never hire them again.

The handrails on the stairways felt squeaky clean, the bathroom faucets were shining, all mirrors and pictures were cleaned with polish. My husband pronounced his bathroom to have been 'very well cleaned,' (something he's been dissatisfied with in the past, when I used a different provider.) I found a tiny bit of dust in the basement on the fireplace hood and a little cat hair still caught on the bottom of an armoire, also in the basement. This was the last story the team worked on. The team was about 10 minutes late, but apologized and seemed serious and professional. I left the team of two, Nathalie and Rosa working alone while I went to work. They did a good job.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE MAIDPRO COMPANY HAS BEEN AVERAGE. THEY ARE JUST A REGULAR COMPANY. THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING THAT I COULDN'T DO. THEY ARE ON TIME MOST OF THE TIME AND THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE. I JUST FEEL AS IF THEY COULD DO BETTER.
