The owner George came out the morning after calling. George was very knowledgeable and provided all the pertinent information without trying to sell me on anything. This allowed me to make an informed decision on what was best for us based upon our needs. We were scheduled within a few days after deciding on what openers to purchase. Matt and Shaun arrived on time, were very tidy and overall did a great job. Once finished they answered all our questions regarding specific features and operation of our new openers. Planning to hire again when it's time for new doors.

After accurately diagnosing the source of the problem, Annapolis Garage Doors returned the following morning to carry out the work. Within an hour, my garage doors were working better than they had been before!

I requested a quote from Annapolis Garage Doors for installation of a new opener and servicing for two doors. George got back to me right away -- calling me the next day. After texting him door measurements and a few pictures of the work to be done, George gave me an instant (and accurate) quote. A few days later, his team showed up after letting me know that day that they were running an hour behind. The delay didn't bother me, and I appreciated their prompt communication. Once they showed up, they went right to work, installing one new opener and servicing both doors (new springs on one door) -- finishing in about 1 hour. They showed me how everything worked, answered all my questions, and programmed the new keypad. A great experience from start to finish. We'll be using them again when it's time to replace the other opener.

They made appointments twice to come to our house and didn't show up each day. They said a tech would call us each time and made a timed appointment. Each time a tech never called and no one showed up. I don't know what their problem was but I will not do business with anyone who does not follow thru on appointment.

Fine. They came on the same day I called to enable me to get my car out of the garage and came back the next day (!!) to replace the damaged panels with new ones. Timely, courteous, efficient. I would highly recommend them.

The company was excellent. Their service level was a 10. They came out and installed 2 new garage door openers. Their team was polite, professional and expedited the repairs. They were honest and upfront for additional work they suggested and their price was fair. Professional work at a fair price. I highly recommend their services.

Our garage door spring broke yesterday afternoon. The Annapolis Garage Door crew arrived exactly when they said they would this morning to replace our broken spring(s). They even performed an inspection of the whole garage door system which included the lubrication of all necessary parts. They were in and out in no time at all. Our garage door is working great and is much quieter than it was before. Awesome. The sons/brothers came out and were prompt, polite, and efficient. They explained issues and gave me answers to my questions. They had to order some parts to finish the job but as promised came out promptly and finished the job COMPLETELY to my satisfaction. I thought I needed new gaskets at the bottom of the doors and they said it would be a waste of money. So I appreciated that. Very happy - wish I could find more contractors this good and honest.

Can't say enough good things about George and his team at Annapolis Garage Doors Inc. After our door unexpectedly broke George came too our home, determined that a new door was needed and had it installed quickly. It's working flawlessly and looks great as well. I had used George two years ago when one of the door springs failed and experienced the same great service. His business is the model for great customer service. They know what they are doing and do exactly what they say they are going to do.

Installation occurred less than a week after initial contact. The team showed up on time, were extremely polite and professional. They completed work in less than an hour and stayed to show me features and operations.

I had purchased a door reinforcing kit from Home Depot. Mr. Cook installed that kit for me at no charge and installed a second one from his truck on my second door (at no charge as he said it was a used one). I was only charged for a 2 door tune up which I had agreed to in advance. Very prompt service, came when he said he would, good job, very personable and friendly professional. Would recommend without reservation.

Excellent! He identified the problem and laid out the options for fixing vs. replacing. We chose replacing, and the new door opener is better than the old one ever was! George showed up exactly when he said, and fixed everything within the same day. He even programmed the other garage doors onto the extra buttons on the remote. Excellent!

When our (very old) garage door opener failed suddenly, we checked Angie's list and decided on Annapolis Garage Doors to replace the unit. What a great choice! They determined what I needed over the phone and arrived exactly as scheduled. The technician swapped out the unit, checked and lubricated our garage door mechanism, and reprogrammed our cars' HomeLink buttons, all in about an hour. I also like the fact that they offer warranty service above and beyond the factory warranty. Annapolis Garage Doors is now my "go-to" source for any future garage door issues.

Mr. Cook replaced both springs on the "broken" door. Then, he took the time to inspect and tune up both doors. The cost was very fair. Communication was excellent. I definitely recommend this company.

My expectations were not just fulfilled but exceeded. After being notified of my interest in the project, the contractor promptly arranged for an on-site visit to provide a requested quote (I had solicited 2-3 vendors). During his visit, a through explanation of a proposed solution was provided in understandable language. A written quote was delivered within a day. The price was very competitive with another local highly-rated firm -- and I asked for an upgrade in level of garage door to break a tie. A successful negotiation for all parties--no "free lunches" were given. Included in the quote was haul away of old items. A contract was agreed to and installation date established--with a completion date of same day. He arrived on appointed day on time (in fact a little early) ready to go to work with new doors and all other materials on hand. George finished the job by mid-afternoon that days. As promised, old doors, motors and rails had been removed to be hauled away and the work area was clean. He demonstrated operations and features of the new equipment--including external controls and car fobs, I paid the agreed amount by check after he provided me with the invoice, manuals and other paperwork for my records. He was polite, informative, and efficient. I was very pleased with the outcome--the process--and the price. I recommend this outfit without reservation.

Quick, well-done

Answered promptly when called. At the appointment he not only fixed the cable that was causing the problem, but replaced broken shives and lubricated both garage doors and tightened one that was doing a jerking motion when moving. He even replaced the light bulbs. Now both doors run smoothly. I will use him again when the doors eventually need to be replaced. George was very professional, highly recommend.

We needed a new garage door to replace a 32 year-old door to go with new vinyl siding. We called George Cook who we used before to install a new garage door for a carport. We picked out a style and color and George ordered it and installed it before the siding was completed, and came back to install the trim afterwards. We think it looks great and are very happy with the work that George does. He is always pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend him.
