She would like to do more surgery but I can't afford that right now. I thought the price was very expensive. Their service was excellent. They are only available Monday through Friday, that's the only bad part. If you had an emergency on the weekend, you'd have to go to your own doctor or to the emergency animal hospital. They are very prompt and they always know the dog's name. They give each dog their own special attention.

Dr. Weigt had seen my cat about four years before but she was still very knowledgeable about my cat's unusual history and past symptoms. She is obviously highly skilled, personable, and able to explain things in terms I could understand. She clearly cares for the animals she treats, and for their owners, too.

Although Sylvan's story is a sad one, I am grateful that my regular veterinarian recommended Dr. Hyman. She is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor, and everyone at Eye Care for Animals worked hard to make Sylvan comfortable and to help me through a very difficult decision.
I highly recommend Eye Care for Animals.
Sincerely,
Wanda Trimnal
PLEASE NOTE: This is a rating for a veterinarian, not a home repair. The work was not done at my home, and the year the house was built is irrelevant. Instead, I listed the year in which most of the work occurred.

I noticed a lesion on my cat's eye in 2005. After the eye was unresponsive to treatment for several weeks, my regular vet judiciously referred my kitty to Dr. Weigt, who correctly diagnosed the problem and prescribed an effective medication. When the problem resurfaced in 2011, I did not hesitate to take my cat back to Dr. Weigt.

Dr. Weigt and I came to a verbal agreement on treatment for my dog's luxated lens. I paid half up front and was given 90 days to pay the rest. When I picked my dog up after surgery, she asked if I could bring him back the next morning for a follow up. There was a fee charged for me bringing him in for a follow up appointment. 72 hours later and 5 days later when I came back for follow ups I kept getting charged fees. She did not inform me that my dog had glaucoma and just told me he would be slightly farsighted in his eye. I feel that she was deceptive with her services. She took me to court after I paid the full amount and wanted more money. She never showed up at the court date and sent a veterinary technician in her place that had no personal knowledge of our agreement. The surgical consent form that I signed came down to paragraph 3 where it said she may or may not charge follow up or recheck fees. I never received a copy of this form.
