More than pleased with thoroughness and quality of work performed on short notice. Plan to so use them for some upcoming work that is more complex. Their professionalism and price are very good.
8/18 Bob called and said they would be late because they had to finish up a job from the day before but would be there around 10:00. An employee and helper arrived at 1:00 p.m. They installed the ceiling light, replaced the floodlight bulb and capped the outlet. When the electrician took down the light where the kitchen fan was to go he said that he didn't see how it could be done given that there was too much space between ceiling and the sub-floor of second floor. Thinking that I couldn't use the fan there I said I might use it somewhere else. After looking at the location of a second fan he said he needed to get another box for it but didn't have time to do that but installed the fan I couldn't now use in the other location. They left at 3:20 p.m. My bill was $248.25.
8/20 Bob came to the house after hearing fan couldn't be installed. Said that it could be attached to the cement that was in the cailing and he would send someone else on 8/25 at 8:00 a.m.
8/25 8:00 a.m. no electrician - 9:00 I called and left message - sometime latter finally got to talk to Bob - he said because of Tropical Storm Irene he had big customers that needed to get their sump pumps working and in the scheme of things my fans weren't important. I said that my fans may not be as important but my time is and he could have called me and he said that I just wasn't on his radar. Even though I was wary, but since I had already paid 1/2 of the estimate, I decided to have them come and finish the job. Set date for 9/16 8:00
9/16 8:30 Bob calles to say the guy scheduled is not coming but someone else will be here at 9:00. Asked him if he had the box for the fan and he said yes and the guy knows what to do. 11:15 the original guy comes and does not have box. He does not have instructions from boss but he takes the light down to show me what he thinks. There is no cement but there is a plaster and lath sub floor for second floor with too much space between that and first floor ceiling to hang the fan. Would need a drywaller to cut out big piece of ceiling and make adjustments. They do not provide a drywaller. We talked things out and he asked if I wanted him to go to store and get box and hang second fan. I told him no thank you, I had no problem with him but I would not do business with his company ever again.
