Mr. Musser is unresponsive, unreliable, and unprofessional. He came out to our house to take a look at a tree trunk we need removed. He subsequently called me to let me know he was willing to do the work, and provided me a verbal estimate. I'd spoken to a number of tree services, and was aware that our situation came with some significant risks, so I asked a number of questions. We ended the conversation, agreeing that Mr. Musser would send me a written proposal and provide proof of insurance. I was planning on hiring him. Over the course of the following week, I called and texted several times, requesting the documents. After 2 1/2 weeks of no response, Mr. Musser finally responded to a text, saying only, "I'm not interested." No explanation. No courtesy of an explanation. No apology.

They were quite good. They were efficient. They came in and did exactly what they did. They did a really good job. They were quite efficient and timely. They forgot to do something. They came back to do it and didn't do it quite right. I wouldn't hesitate to have them again. The price was quite competitive. They came right up. They didn't get one of the things they were supposed to do correct. They could have listened better or have done a better job when they came back.

I was home one day with my sick son and my wife and I decided to get rid of a large pine tree in our front yard. I found Patrick Musser's information on Google and Angie's list and called and Pat was able to come to my house that same day and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. Patrick Musser called me the day before stating that he and his crew will be at my residence the next day at 9am. The next day came and at 9am his crew was here ready to go to work. Pat's crew was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Pat's crew took two hours to take down the tree, grind the stumps and roots and back fill the area with dirt. Once everything was done, my yard looked like clean and prestine. There was no mess and everything great. I would highly recommend anyone who needs tree removal to contact Pat Musser. He is very friendly, professional, and is very responsive to customer needs.

Called Musser, he came out, gave an estimate, appeared negative when told we had an Angie's deal. He said he would be back, but never came. I called, he promised to come by c. 5/15/14, but did not and has not called or communicated.

This was my second time using Pat's service -- and can't recommend highly enough. His crew arrived on time. Pat estimated about four hours -- they were done in 2 1/2, and no skimping, just very efficient, a seven-man crew working on some very tall trees. They were courteous, cleaned up, including debris falling into the street, helped cars navigate around the debris, and responded to my suggestions by making them happen. Plus, I remembered the crew from the first time I used them, which was at least five years ago. That tells me that Pat's employees like working for him. If they're loyal, that's an awesome endorsement for me.

The price included a Big Deal discount. Almost three weeks passed without hearing anything. I had to initiate calls and emails to follow up multiple times. They canceled several times due to weather, even though the weather was fine. More than once I was told that due to weather, smaller jobs had to be pushed back and it was clear that I was not a priority. The work that was done was fine. However, I emphasized at the time of the estimate and again before the work started, that I wanted 3 large branches overhanging the roof removed, even if it made the tree asymetrical. They failed to remove these branches and when I brought this up to the person in charge at the completion, he kept repeating that they were not near the house. I grew tired of debating the issue further. Due to the multiple cancellations, lack of follow up to reschedule and not listening regarding the main item of work that I wanted done, I would not recommend this company. Perhaps a larger job would result in a better experience.

They removed 2 tall shrubs - I purchased $150 for $300 worth of service, which exactly covered the cost of removal of the 2 shrubs and grinding of 1 stump. They came out when they said they would and completed the job quickly and efficiently.

These people really know there trees! Estimate was higher than some,but competitive. Patrick was very willing to answer all of our questions, made suggestions, and had his insurance company send us their insurance information. It was a 2 day job and and had to be scheduled around weather conditions. There was always a supervisor on site. Very are hard working. This type of work requires an amazing level of skill, and it was a pleasure to watch how they worked collectively to take down the large tree hanging over the house. It was fascinating - if you have them do work for you, it's worth taking the time to see it happen! By the time the job was completed all of the wood and tree debris was removed from our yard, our sidewalks and the street in front of our house. Any dents in the lawn due to falling sections of trees were patched, the stump was ground down and the grindings were raked back into the hole. It was a very positive service all around and i would recommend them highly.

There was a little scheduling problem at first, the first day they were scheduled it was raining. It went fine. The estimate was right on. They showed up on time, but originally scheduling the appointment was a little tricky. I would hire them again.

My wife and I purchased the deal to have work done on trees in our yard. We had previously received several other quotes and when we saw the Angie's List deal, we thought it was a good price. Upon having Patrick Musser services come out to our house to provide a quote for work, the price did not stack up against competitors. We emailed them to confirm a few service requests and the price, and when we learned it would actually cost more to get the work done, we realized we needed to obtain more quotes to find a better service provider for this task.

Everything went as they said it would. they were here at 8:00AM as promised and were done by 3:00PM. Everything was cleaned up and you would hardly know they had been here. They guys that did the work were personable and efficient. I am very happy with the results and would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent job. Somewhat challenging job taking down a dead elm tree that had overhanging limbs over two different neighbor's fences. Work was done quickly, without any damage to anyone's property. The tree crew cut and stacked a pile of firewood that I can use for a nice winter's supply. Ground the stump, raked and cleaned up. Great job.

Both accomplished well. The workmen acted like they actually cared about what they were doing!

Tree was close top house we were concerned that debris could damage the house. They were extremely careful and did an excellent job. No damage done. Highly recommend Patrick Musser and his crew!

They provided the estimate and then they came out to do the work. This company did not grind the stumps at the time they took down the trees; they came back later to do that. They cleaned up after themselves and seemed to be courteous and responsive. We were very happy with the work they did. We did ask them to leave some firewood but they did not do it.

I may use Patrick Musser Tree Service after I have compared estimates with another company.

We use Patrick all the time. Most of the times, for what we need, it comes up to $1000, because we have a lot of trees. He could be here for seven hours so it depends on the job. He is just always respectful. He does a daily clean up after himself. He is very pleasant. He always comes when he says he is going to come.

We received the names of several tree services from the nursery where we bought the replacement tree. We contacted 3 companies. Patrick Musser was the first company to respond and said it would be no problem to grind the stump out to the required two feet down. The second company was too busy to do the job, and the third company gave us a bid of almost $900. Patrick Musser Tree Service arrived at the time they were scheduled and had the tree down in less than 5 minutes. Using a robotic stump grinder they were done in less than 1/2 an hour. They used tarps to protect the grass around the tree and another to protect the house from flying debris. They cleaned upthe area very well. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. We have already recommended them to other neighbors who need to have trees removed. We would definitely hire them again if we needed tree services.

They did a great job. On-time and very professional. Took the time not to damage our grass and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Would definitely recommend them for tree work.

During a recent line of heavy thunderstorms our 100 year old Mulberry Tree split. We had received a quote from Patrick Musser Tree Service earlier for the job and had decided to go with them based off of neighbors recommendations and price. However, we were waiting till we could completely remove the concrete patio that surrounded its base before we had them start. When the storm hit and the tree began to split I called P.Musser Tree Service frantic for help. The branch that was split was hanging over our fence and the remaining part of the branch was hanging over my living room. The gentleman came out and inspected the damage during a break in the storms, tied ropes to the branches to relieve some of the pressure the splitting was causing and had his crew out the very next morning to have the tree taken down. Our patio was in the middle of demolition so the surface they had to work on was less than idea. They did a fantastic job taking down the tree and cleaning up the mess.

Overall, they did a really good job!

The price above represents several different times that I have used Patrick Musser's service. He has come to my home several times in the last 2 years for both elective tree removal and trimming as well as removal and clean up of downed trees due to the severe weather we have experienced. Patrick has been the consummate porfessional. He is very fairly priced and extremely knowledgable about his profession. We have nothing but good experiences with him and his crew. The guys that work with him are very pleasant and extremely hard-working. I would strongly recommend his services to anyone.
