They were absolutely wonderful 20 years ago.  We stopped going when my oldest was in 6th grade.  Back then, for full-time care during the summer, it cost $150 a week.  If it was before and after school care when school was in session, it was $85.  They furnished them with nutritious snacks or if they were there all day they would serve nutritious lunches.  They furnished them with nice cots for nap time when they were young enough for naps.  They had a lot of school-related type of materials and the teachers did a lot of work with the kids when they were young on learning their numbers, letters, words, etc.  They had nice technology for them when they had open play time.  They had a nice outside playground and they got lots of outdoor exercise.  Just in general, I felt they got good care.  There were papers we had to fill out concerning who could and could not pick them up.  They preferred, if at all possible, that if we were not picking them up that we notify them ahead of time that someone from the list was going to be coming.  Their pricing was a little high but I felt for the care it was pretty good.  They took my youngest before he was two years old and he was not potty-trained at the time; that didn’t cost me extra.
