They don't put a lot of pressure on you. They are helpful. If you want to come back tomorrow with a trade they will work with you. When you come in to be serviced, it is not that much extra work to wash it. We were satisfied with the price.

We are always in and out of there. I give them a lot of credit because a woman can go in there and not get screwed when she wants to get her car fixed. They are very good with that. They know how to treat people. They educate you. They have seminars and have everything going for the car. They are a big business, but they know what they are doing. They have one service I like because we are now down to one car, is that I can the car in there and they ask if I want to wait. They have a coffee bar and everything else all lined up for you. They even feed you cookies and turn the television on. They tell you to sit back and enjoy yourself and that they will have the car done in 50 minutes, and they do. I have never had any problems at all with them. They tell you just what needs to be done. If you feel like your brakes are a little low or something, when you take it in, they will look right into it. Put it this way, as far as car dealers, they probably are the most courteous and hospitable car dealers I have ever come across with either the service department or buying a car from them. They are not pushy and don't give you the high pressure bit. The waiting area is very nice. The guys come out or see you waiting there, and tell you what the story is on your car before they do it or while they are doing it. They don't just do it and give you the bill. They have been very good service. Everything we have done there has been under warranty. The quality is excellent. You just make an appointment and bring the car in. If you want to, they will bring a car over with two drivers and take your car back. You don't have to go down there. They have a pickup service that will deliver your car and bring it back when they are done with it. If anything was under warranty or if anything was a problem, they solved the problem right off the bat. They are very professional. We think they are great. They are very punctual and they let you know when it's time to bring the car in again.

I took the car in for an estimate on a Friday afternoon. The body shop manager, Jay Hannon, looked at the car and started to write an estimate. As he began, a rep from an insurance company came into the office, a guy that the manager seemed to know well, and the two men started talking. The manager told me that I could leave and that he would call me with an estimate within a half an hour. He never did call. I called the shop early the following week and spoke to a Jeannine who told me that it was not normal to give a customer an estimate until the insurance company approved it. I was unsure of the truth to this because I had had work done by Boyle's body several weeks prior to this, and was given an estimate from Jeannine immediately after she inspected the damage. Finally, on Friday, I received an e-mail from my insurance company letting me know that they had approved the estimate and that the information had been sent to Boyle. I called Boyle and spoke to the manager who told me he was waiting for the insurance company's approval so that he could order the parts. I told him that I had received an e-mail from the insurance company telling me that approval had been given. He checked with Jeannine who confirmed that they had the approval. I was then told that they would have to get the parts and would call me once they had all arrived. It turns out that the parts had already been ordered and had arrived at the shop. I took my car in the following Tuesday, and was able to pick it up the following Monday. The rear hatchback door had been replaced and my license plate was only loosely mounted on the new door. John came out of the body shop office and fixed that. It took quite a bit of effort which makes it seem that whoever had started the job just gave up when it became difficult. Once I got home, I saw that the new exhaust pipe had been mounted crooked, and was very close to the bumper. I was afraid that the heat of the exhaust pipe would burn the plastic bumper, and it looked bad. Also, one of the back up lights in the brand new bumper did not work. I returned to Boyle several days later to have those things looked at. John put a new bulb in the light and it now works fine. He had the mechanic who had done the exhaust system look at the crooked tailpipe. The mechanic told me that that was as good as it would get, that my insurance company would only pay for after market parts and that was how it was going to be. He was extremely rude and flippant with me and just walked away without trying to resolve the matter. John adjusted the pipe himself, but it returned to the original place by the time I got home. I did not go back because John had assured me that the exhaust pipe would not burn the bumper. I felt completely blown-off by Jay regarding the initial estimate, and for lack of a better term, jerked around by Boyle's body shop regarding the entire repair.
Response from Boyle Buick GMC Service
"First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your business and for taking the time to write this review about your experience at our dealership. Secondly, I would like to apologize on behalf of my team that your service needs were not handled properly. Regardless of the situation, there is no excuse that you should leave this dealership unless you are completely satisfied. I did look into your recent visit and discovered that there was an issue with question of liability. Janine was able to work with the insurance company who was accepting liability and I think there was some confusion and maybe lack of communication between her and Jay in between your visits. As far as the tailpipe, I did confirm with Jay and Janine that the insurance company's estimate did only allow for the after market part. Again, I apologize if this was not appropriately. communicated. Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention as we will always work to improve our #1 goal: customer satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me directly if I can be of any further assistance. Thank you, Paige Boyle"

Boyles Buick's body shop is a relatively small operation. There is no waiting to see anyone. Of the three estimates that I received they were the most expensive. The work was an insurance claim. They are a preferred provider for the insurance company so they took care of the interface. Everything proceeded quickly including paperwork and the actual work. I dropped the car off and picked it up when promised. Car was cleaned inside and out. The work was very good. They were $1000 higher than the low bid which was an independent operation so I would use them again for an insurance claim. They also give a lifetime warranty for the work done.

I took the car in for leaks in the trunk and rear passenger side floor. After a day of testing they were able to find the causes and fix them. A few weeks later the trunk started up again and I asked them to pull the drain plug for me until I could get the car back to them. I just haven't gotten the time free to take it back but I know when I do they will be glad to take care of it .

They did an absolutely beautiful job. They did an excellent job. The car looks brand new inside and it has no musty smell. The price actually came in lower than what I was quoted. Most of the water damage was only in the $300 range but the trim came from the factory and there was nothing they could do about that price. I have used them several times.

They were able to get to my car right away, and it was even fixed by the next morning. We have them do the oil changes and regular tune ups as we trust them and we really like their service.
