We recently made the decision to take on another home improvement project, adding a 20 x 30 foot family room attached to our single story rancher. We were very fortunate to have TMS Commercial Builders help us through the entire process! We are very thankful to have met Ted and his team. TMS Commercial Builders is our contractor of choice for any future project!
What made the difference in our project is Ted?s personal involvement in every phase of the project. When Ted came to our home and listened to our thoughts on the project, he really took the time to listen to us. When we were all finished, he asked a few questions and told us that he had a clear understanding of what we wanted. In a few short days he provided us with a draft concept and cost estimate, his cost estimate was $23,000.00 lower than the next closest contractor! His concept was exactly what we had envisioned!
Ted coordinated all of the permits and inspections and kept us completely informed on the progress. During the construction, Ted was onsite every day ensuring his personal high quality standards were met! Every inspection was completed on schedule and without a single flaw or delay.
Ted?s knowledge and experience in all aspects of our home addition helped guide us through the entire process. He was able to answer all of our questions, and set our expectations on next steps, costs, and to make even the challenging parts of the project to go well. His understanding of county building codes and the process made everything go very smoothly. When we were concerned about how to economize by doing some work ourselves, he helped us to understand what made sense, and was flexible in working with us to set appropriate boundaries and expectations around how to get the most for our investment.
It's a pleasure to share the great experience we've had in working with Ted and his entire team at TMS Commercial Builders. We already have plans for a much bigger project next year. This time, selecting the contractor will be the easiest part!
