Overall the kitchen renovation went well. He was very responsive, professional, and overall worked well. However when I had him out to do the next project the following spring, he started it but was unable to finish. There were many delays, he was not responsive to calls, e-mails, texts, etc. and after about 6 months we agreed to terminate the project and he refunded my deposit for the unfinished work. My house was in semi-demo mode for 6 months, and I eventually found another contractor to finish the job.
Description of Work: I had this contractor renovate my kitchen early in 2011. He refinished the existing cabinets, tiled the backsplash, installed granite countertops, installed recessed lighting and under cabinet lighting. He also annexed the nearby laundry room and made it part of the kitchen by partially removing a wall, installing cabinets, backsplash, lighting and granite tops. There was also finish painting, a new sink and plumbing. He also found a few things wrong with the house along the way and fixed them.
