They are outstanding, and can basically do just about any and everything.

This job was almost perfect. The carpenters (Mike S., Ryan, etc.) were amazing. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were very impressive. They worked diligently, but did not rush. Their problem solving skills and ingenuity were terrific. We really got the feeling that these guys were treating our job as if it was their own home. The only issue we had came at the end of the project when the painters came. They were quite sloppy even to the point of getting paint on some of our clothing. I had to do a lot of cleaning up after them and months later am still finding spots where they splattered or dripped paint. The bottom line is if you need carpentry done, these guys get my highest recommendation. But stay away from their paint crew.

In addition to quality, our primary concern was having the job done in the least amount of time possible to limit the inconvenience. We chose Cape Associates for its reputation as well as the fact that it has a large staff and links to good subs so that we wouldn't have to deal with timing and coordination issues that are too often an issue on the Cape. We were also drawn by the firm's overall professionalism and the fact that it can keep craftspeople working year round and offer training and benefits, so they can attract and keep talented, experienced and loyal staff. In our experience, loyal and motivated employees are the key to quality work. Sure seems to have been the case with our job. Despite brutal weather conditions and record snowfall, the team showed up punctually as promised and kept the job on track. All the work was scheduled and executed so efficiently that we believe there is no way it could have been done in less time by anyone. Everyone who worked on the job was eager to please us and do a quality job, and we particularly appreciated the fact that they checked with us before any decision was made so as to avoid any misunderstandings or mistakes that would have to be remedied. The tile work was masterfully done by a true craftsman, and we were delighted to see our vision for the carpentry work realized just as we imagined. Cape Associates wasn't the least expensive way to go, but we feel we got what we paid for -- including the confidence that we would get a quality job in the least amount of time possible and wouldn't have the hassle of dealing with contractors who don't show up when they're supposed to, cut corners that will result in expensive fixes later, and don't deliver what they say they will. We would definitely use Cape Associates again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Very reliable and very responsive. But if you use them for repairs they get a cut from the sub.

They have excellent service. They only employee the best workers. They do very good projects.
