He is fair, and honors his word. He is amazing, does great work. He communicates well and is very supportive throughout the entire process. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

In the last week of August we found out that one of our tenants had infected the building with bed bugs. After doing a fair amount of research we decided to go with Pure Heat because they are able to take care of the entire problem in one go without chemicals (which was important because one of our tenants is extremely chemical sensitive). We needed them to come out quickly because one tenant was moving out at the end of the month and I didn't want to have them contaminate another building, and we also had a new tenant coming in that I didn't want to have to deal with the bed bugs.
They were able to come on the 31st and completed the job around 6:30pm. They were a little bit late, but they were coming from the cape, so that was almost to be expected on a Friday in August. They told us to not use any of the electronics until they were back to room temperature (they left the fridges running though), so we told the tenants to leave everything off until the next day. As far as I know nothing was damaged from the heat (no tenants complaints, and I'm sure they would have if something had happened haha) and it was great to not have to do any real prep work in order to be successful since one of my tenants is quite the pack rat. As an added bonus, the tenants tell me that they haven't seen any spiders or other insects since, so I guess the heat must've gotten them too!
Overall if you have a bedbug problem I would definitely recommend PureHeat. They're not cheap, but compared to the horror stories I've heard about people using traditional chemical methods that don't work, I'd rather spend the money to have it done right the first time.

They had environment health services come in and my wife handled it. They did find where the infestation was in the house and unfortunately we had the bugs on three floors. We hadn't recognized them before and it was causing a problem. When they found where it was, they came in and we had to be out of house for the day. They hated the whole house to 140degrees which killed any of the bedbugs that might have been there. They killed the eggs and the larvae. So with this heat they killed everything and from that time we never had any problems. It was very expensive but very necessary service. The people were cordial, professional and would rate them high overall. They were excellent. They came with trucks and equipments with four people who worked. They came in the morning and worked till the evening. We were really happy and would recommend them to anyone.

A month after the last heat treatment, when I was sure I was still getting bitten, I brought back the bed-bug sniffing dog who discovered bed bugs in three of the original rooms and in places in those room where they hadn't been before. I would not recommend Pure Heat as exterminators for a large, old house.

We were very happy we chose Pure Heat, a company which was recommended by Environmental Health Services--a group we had used before to exterminate some ants in our home. Sandy was wonderful--understood our feelings about going through this ordeal. The workers who came were thoroughly professional, respectful and competent. The bedbugs are gone--no evidence of any activity since that day.
