Land Surveying
My neighbor and I approached Down Cape Engineering about surveying our combined properties in November of 2015.
Down Cape Engineering allowed us a discount of $100 each for doing both properties at the same time.
I talked to Heather several times to ask details about what would be performed and received instant answers from her.
I encourage anyone that is not sure what to expect from the survey to call her.
I found that the actual survey team was readily available for questions also.
Down Cape Engineering presented a proposal/contract that described what they would do and how much each additional option would cost. I asked for some clarifications be made to the proposal (as a result of getting details from Heather), and they obliged and sent out modified proposals via email. They require a $200 deposit and a signed proposal/contract before the work is done.
I was not present during the survey (we are summer residents), but the work was done exactly as was promised per the proposal. Our property has lots of brambles and thick woods in spots and I was concerned how they would do the survey, but it apparently did not bother them.
I am very satisfied with the work that was done and believe it was done at a very good price.
