Our mission at Simply Safer Premium Lawn Care is to provide our customers the ability to enjoy all of the benefits of a nice green healthy lawn AND to provide this without jeopardizing your families health or the health of our local environment. We take a great deal of pride in the quality of the results that we provide. We also pride ourselves in being very competitively priced as you'll see when you call. We offer two different lawn care programs so that we can provide exactly what you're looking for. Our Organic-Based Lawn Program provides beautiful green turf and optimal control of weeds & insects while reducing pesticide use by 90%. Our Fully Organic Program provides excellent results and uses no chemicals at all for the safest lawn possible. To compliment these programs we also offer a full line of seeding and lawn renovation services along with Organic Mosquito & Tick Control and Tree & Shrub Care. We consistently provide the best results and service because of who we are. We aren't a franchise or a giant corporation, we're a local company. We live locally, we buy most of our products from local manufactures supporting New England jobs, our 17 trucks are all American made, and our employees are all on salary and we treat them as part of our family.

Simply Safer Lawncare has exceeded my expectations. I have used this company for 4 years now and my lawn looks amazing. They are very responsive when I call with questions and always send out a technician when I have areas that need attention. I have called them several times to move around scheduled treatments based on situations and they always reschedule and make it work. I highly recommend both their products (safer for the kids - less pesticides) and their responsive customer service.

We used this company a few years ago and had a good experience. This year they came out and gave us a quote for a lawn program. We paid in advance for the aeration/overseeding and all the fall lawn treatments and then never heard back from the company. After a few weeks we called the business line and the owner/manager's cell phone and he never called us back. We called both more than once and even told the receptionist that we were going to have to cancel the service and ask for a refund and he did not call us back. Finally we cancelled the service and asked for a refund. Now it's probably too late to hire someone else. Very disappointing.

"I'm very sorry that our communication broke down in this instance. I will discuss this with your salesman and see what happened with him not returning that call. Your lawn had been scheduled to be aerated and seeded on October 1st and we notify all seeding jobs one week prior to, to allow time for the lawn to be prepped (mowed short and sprinkler heads flagged). If we can make it up to you please let me know and we will make it right."

We are huge fans of Simply Safer Lawn Care. We bought our house 6 years ago and our yard was overrun with ticks--one of my children contracted Lyme disease within a month of moving in. We worked with Simply Safer to create a plan that rid our yard of ticks but still allowed our kids to play outside safely without too many chemicals. We use their services for aeration, weed and grub control, and other maintenance throughout the growing season, and our lawn looks great. The service technicians are always thorough and pleasant. This is a great company to work with.

Excellent company, very professional from the office staff to the servicemen that complete the work. I have used them for over a year and my lawn looks great. They managed the mosquitoes and ticks well, however the lawn looked awful. We had a brand new sod lawn, and after three months it was full of crab grass and nearly dead. Plus our back lawn looked the worst it has ever looked.

"I'm sorry that you weren't pleased with your lawn. You were however not on a program where we would treat the crabgrass. We would've been happy to treat the crabgrass for you at any time, but you had asked that we only apply organic products to feed the soil. A sod lawn struggling it's first season is likely due to the installation or transport process and mere organic fertilizer applications would not cause any harm, it would only help. I've left you a voicemail message explaining this and offering to look at the lawn again for you to make recommendations. If we move forward we'd likely want to discuss your switching programs to match your expectations. Your being on our Organic-Based program where we use minimal amounts of weed control products (90% less than traditional programs) to provide optimal weed and crabgrass control would likely be a better fit for your expectations of crabgrass being controlled."

They use all organic materials. They also do mosquito and tick prevention and they use all non-insecticides, just natural. Yesterday was $40. Today was $42.50. It really works because all summer we haven’t had a mosquito and my dog that uses the yard, no ticks. I can’t complain about them. If you have a problem like last time, they come right back out if you have a problem and they do it for free. They always call before they come.

I'm cautiously pleased and waiting for the final product before final judgement. The review will be updated after I have had more time with the service. I had a barren back yard (cleaned, tilled and raked before the seeding) and a weed-filled, spotty side and front lawn. They have been hydro-seeded by Simply Safe and I will receive regular lawn care including fertilizer, weed control, lime, etc. I was super excited about this company because they have local roots and my contact Mike has been a great communicator and ensured that the customer service will be A+ (customer service is really important to me.) However, this is the reason I'm cautiously pleased. No fault of Mike, the gentleman who installed the hydroseed, was not properly prepared and did not have enough seed to complete the job. He initially said he would return to hand seed the large swaths of land that were not hydroseeded. I called Mike and after a bit of back and forth, he informed me that they would not be able to return with the hydroseed but he would return with compost and seed and personally finish the incomplete job. I hesitantly agreed, fortunately, Mike called the next day to let me know he was able to get me on the next day's schedule for a completion of the yard by hydroseed as that is what I paid for and should get. I was pleased to see that they did return and hydroseed the missing areas. However, I had to call Mike and make him aware that the new hydroseed was a lot thinner than what had been done earlier in the week and I hope this was intentional to the lawn's benefit and not for the benefit of the company's profit margin. I will hold final judgement until I see the final results. Despite a few unfortunate issues that called for uncomfortable conversations, Mike has continued champion for the customer and ensure I'm receiving the A+ service he promised and I'm confident that I'll be raising this review to a 5-star with lots of great pictures and feedback!

They call/message before coming out and come when they say they will come. They offer a discount for prepaying for the year. They use environmentally safe products and offer additional treatments and overseeing. My approximate cost includes some of these additional treatments for winter moths, poison ivy etc.
