A great overall experience ! Ray was prompt and communicated the project well. The work was excellent and clean up and payment went smoothly Very reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with -1500 I would highly recommend !

Mr. Ray Parker was one of the easiest contractors we have ever dealt with. His commitment to deadlines and customer satisfaction is clear. His attention to detail enhanced the appearance of our kitchen. The crown molding, cabinets and granite are an incredible combination and the compliments are endless! We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen and highly reccomend Parker construction for all remodeling projects

Job was completed well within time frame. I checked the basement nightly and was very impressed with how clean and professional they were. A suggestion was made by Mr Parker to extend out a wall to make room for a linen closet. We followed his advice and my wife and I could not be any happier. A+++

RAY was very polite I had a few concerns with any one comming to my home as I do have 3 small dogs and was very worried about them getting out on main road but all went well. With that I will say I noticed my dog treat jar was half empty lol😊 so not only did he answer all my questions was very patient he did a wonderful job I absolutely love it and will be calling him again for my next project I went to work came home and you could not even see a mess he. Was very clean and my babies (dogs) where fine I think they will. Miss him the treat guy lol

This is the second project we have used Ray for and while the first project was excellent, this one did not go nearly as well. Mudroom is very cold in winter because the heating system that Ray proposed is inadequate for the space. In addition, the plaster on the walls was rushed, causing bubbles in the plaster. I had to have a painter come in to fix the job. Ray has been completely unresponsive to emails and phone calls.

They did the work over about two months, on and off. The guys who did the work were absolutely phenomenal. You couldn't ask for a better team to do it. They are second to none. The guy who planned it and scheduled the work couldn't have been worse. Project management from his side was absolutely horrendous. The quality of the work was second to none -- phenomenal; project management was terrible. I wouldn't use them again because of the poor project manager. If I could hire the team outside of the company, I would.

I contacted Parker Construction on Wednesday to request a quote. Ray made an appointment for that same day and had a quote for me the next day. Ray came on Saturday and fixed the floor and also some additional small items (trimmed a door and re-installed a doorknob). Ray's work was excellent. Ray is professional and he cleaned up the floor and the area in the yard where he worked. I am extremely pleased with Parker Construction and highly recommend the company.

We contacted Ray Parker some months back when we were in the process of looking to add an in-law apartment to our current property. We already had a full set of plans so we needed the opinion of a few contractors and then bids for the work. The work included tearing down an existing breezeway connecting the house and a 1-car garage as well as removing the garage. In their place we were going to put in a new, larger 3 season breezeway and then build a 750 square foot in-law suite with basement. The first meeting with Ray was extensive, we spent better than an hour talking about the project and walking through the existing structures to see what was involved. Ray spent a considerable amount of time looking over the plans and offering any suggestions he could think of, especially since he has done a similar project at his own house. His insights were invaluable. Instead of giving us an off the hip figure for the project he had all of his sub-contractors come through and look at the project and the property to give the most accurate numbers they could. Ray was very good about working to get to a budget that we could manage and in the end was the best price of the 3 contractors we had bid. Had we moved forward with the project we would have chosen Ray as the GC and I am confident that the project would have been well done. He was professional and considerate throughout the entire process and I very much appreciated that he insisted on taking the time to get a bid that was accurate not just shooting a number he thought we would like or something that was "ballpark" If you are considering renovations or additions and especially if you are looking to add an in-law suite I would highly recommend speaking with Ray before you start the project.

Ray was very professional and worked with us to help keep the cost of the project down. He was punctual and easy to work with. We were very happy with the end results. We would defenitely recommend him to anyone! We will be using him in the future.

Ray took some time to get back to my original call but, he did, about 8 days later. I met with Ray on my jobsite and really liked his mannerisms. He really seemed to know what he was talking about. My project is the conversion of my single story ranch to a two story single family home. I got the feeling that Ray was very interested in this job and when he gave me a verbal (only) quote, I found the number to be affordable (I did obtain three others quotes from other builders). I asked to proceed but first needed his quote in writing plus to see his certificates of insurance. That is where things fell apart. I tried and tried to get a written quote from Ray but never received such. I can only figure that perhaps Ray underestimated the job and realized this after he gave me his verbal quote. Ultimately, I postponed my project until Spring... Nothing was lost except for time and I wish Ray the best, he seems like a nice guy... The positive...The time lost will allow me more time to gather another quote or two for an early Spring start.

Very impressed with all phases of Parker Contructions work!! We collected quotes from several contractors, but it became crystal clear during this process that Ray Parker was the right guy. We feel extremely fortunate that we were able to hire Ray for all our work. Our home was built in 1815 and he understood exactly what we were trying to accomplish while retaining the "Federal Style" of our home. Ray's very easy to work with, friendly, professional, very high quality standards and his attention to detail is second to none as if it was his own home. He far exceeded all our expections! You just can't find contractors like Ray these days unfortunately who takes pride in all his work. I would not hesitate to hire Ray again for future projects and plan on contacting him again later this summer for 2-car detached garage contruction and indoor motorcross riding circuit.

Very please with Ray's work. He was professional, detailed, and finished the job on time and the basement turned out exactly as hoped. He also helped with the design and came up with some great ideas that we used. We will definitely use him in the future!

Ray cut out the part of the wall carefully and gentle so the dust would not be flying everywhere. He then framed the opening with a matching trim like the existing opening already had. He fixed the wooden floor with leftover planks. He did run into some electrical problems, but was able to come up with a solution. He did an amazing job and everything was done according to code. The only part of the project that needed to be painted was the trim he put in. He worked so neat that i never had to touch up any of the walls with paint. He had to come back for these custom cut swirls, he made,which is a theme throughout our house. We were very pleased with Ray.

Mr. Parker was scheduled to come look at our bathroom one evening. He did not show up and did not call to let us know he was tied up. We did hear from him the next day and agreed to have him come out that evening. He did show up and looked over the bathroom. He told us he would get us an estimate within the week, but we never did receive the estimate. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We wanted to have a pool house (cabana) built prior to the start of the summer. We explained to Ray what we wanted, 16x24 cabana, electric, cable, cabinets, flooring, ceiling fan, running hot/cold water, outdoor lighting, and aesthetically pleasing as possible (to match the house and pool area). Ray gave us a quote and told us when he could start the job and approximately how long it would take. Ray worked with us to design the cabana and to pick out the items (cabinets, windows, slider door, fan, appliances, etc). Ray completed the job ahead of schedule. The cabana looks great and we get compliments on it all the time. It's a great place to entertain, prepare and eat a meal, or just kick back and relax when you need some relief from the heat,

I went downstairs to the basement to turn the water on for the two outside spigots. When I turned them on, water came dripping out of both handle valves. I called Ray up and he gave me a time when he could stop by. He showed up when he said he would. I showed Ray the problem and he went to work. First, the main water supply had to be shut off and the pipes drained of water. Ray replaced the two leaking handle shut off valves with more reliable ball valves. One handle valve was located in a small tight area so the pipe at both ends of the handle valve had to be cut to remove the valve. Once the valves were replaced, I turned the water back on and good news...no leaks. Ray put everything back in place and cleaned up. I was extremely satisfied with the work he did.

THEY CLEANED UP THE MESS VERY WELL. I THOUGHT THE PRICE COULD HAVE IMPROVED BUT THEY DID GOOD WORK. THEY CAME OUT AND HAD THE JOB DONE ON TIME. THEY TOOK THE OLD ROOF OFF AND PUT A NEW ONE ON VERY QUICKLY.
