They showed up exactly when they said they would. They walked me through my options (I saved a couple hundred dollars by doing something differently). The work was done exactly like I wanted. They cleaned up and were out of here pretty quickly. I am going to use them again soon for another room, and would recommend them to anyone I know that needs electrical work done.

Everything is fine. The technician was here when I was told he would be. He covered his shoes when in the house. Everything was cleaned up. He was here less than 1/2 hour.

Professional, prompt, and efficient.

When I signed up with the Co. I was told there was an initial fee just to walk in the door. The woman I spoke with almost made it sound like that fee was included if Loughlin did the work. IT WAS NOT. I paid well over $200. for less about an hours work and almost no supplies. They did come that day so that is a plus but for those outrageous prices they probably don't get much work so can respond quickly. I would NOT rehire.

Great, took a while to run the wires but nothing out of the ordinary.

My main issue is with how they make you pay a significant amount to come out for an estimate which can then be applied to the cost of the job. The problem was that the estimate was twice what it had cost to do the EXACT same thing in another bathroom. I had no problems with the actual work done, just with the cost.

Both went very well, they worked clean, everyone I have met there were very nice.

I was so happy with the entire experience. Starting with the initial phone call (to inquire and eventually book the appointment) to the price. Paul was a true professional and I appreciated his honesty when reviewing options and not over selling a service that wasn't needed.

Repair man was punctual, fast, and professional.

We value our relationship with Loughlin's because of how responsive they have been to our requests for electrical work, now and in the past. The employees are friendly, courteous and professional. The family membership provides us with a discount, which we weren't sure that we'd need in the future, but surprises happen.

They seem excellent. They have been really terrific.  I had just moved into a place and didn’t know what issues there were. They did a great job. They went around and tested all of the light fixtures, all of the outlets, and the wiring in the basement.

Loughlin Electric gets a superior rating from us. Across the board, from the telephone contacts in their office to the workers' on the property, the level of professionalism and attention to our requests was outstanding.

Loughlin made an appointment for only a few days after we called them, arrived on time, explained clearly what the cost would be, did the work very well, and cleaned up after themselves. Their prices were somewhat high, but it was worth it to have the job done right with no hassles.

The work was done well, they came out the same day and were on time. My problem is with the pricing. I knew they charged a $59 service fee just to come and look, all repair type services do that. But in my experience that service fee is applied to the overall cost of the repair is you have it done. Not with them. It was charged on top of a charge of $209 for replacing the breaker which took about 15 minutes. I could buy a breaker for $40 in the store so I am sure it is cheaper for them. But even if it was $40 that means the labor was $169 for 15minutes of work. So they basically charge $675 per hour for labor.

This review is to highlight the fantastic professionalism I experienced with Loughlin Electric Company.  In seeking out an electrician to rewire a complicated light fixture, Jim Loughlin responded to my request via email.  No other companies that I contacted took the time to answer my queries or seek additional information regarding my needs.  However, Jim Loughlin did  take time and on a Sunday via email.  Not only did he ask how he could help, he went on to provide additional resources for my specific lighting situation.  Jim Loughlin was knowledgeable, resourceful and went above and beyond providing me with exceptional customer service without having ever met me or asking for any type of consulting fee.

In addition, on Monday morning, I received a call from his partner, who was making sure someone had contacted me from Loughlin Electric Inc.  I was blown away.  I have been acting as my own General Contractor working on a complete house renovation dealing with and hiring sub contractors.  This company and the employees are way above the standard.  They are exceptional in their responsiveness, knowledge base and overall customer service.  I plan to hire them for a basement remodel soon feeling confident that I am hiring the right people for my project.  No other company that I have ever dealt with has been as outstanding in delivery of customer services via email and phone conversations for a fantastic start.  Awesome.

They did a fantastic job!   They are very knowledgeable, thorough, timely, and clean,  We plan to use them again for other electrical needs in the future both at her townhouse and at my own home.  It's hard to find good electricians but this company is top notch.
