We found this company completely by accident, as he is not in any directory. A number with a name on a piece of paper was given to us by a friend of a friend...you know the way that happens. Well, the owner and chief cook and bottle washer is David Diamand a true gem of a person ( no pun intended ). I had interviewed all the "majors" prior to our meeting David and was very concerned that our possessions were going to make this long trip unscathed. Certainly not because I thought they might be unqualified, but more because of the number of people that would be involved in the move and the number of hands in the pie. Too much opportunity for people to point the finger at someone else, as often is the case. Dave came along and we realized that dealing with him...was...well just that. There were no other people in the mix. He supervised the loading and packing and packed the truck like a NASA scientist ( we filled a 53 footer, floor to ceiling and right to the back doors). He drove the truck down ( his only truck). Slept in the truck and supervised the unloading down here in Florida. Initially I had some concerns in that he was such a small company, but he came to my house in RI many times, at my request, never complained that he was busy. The more my wife and I spoke to him, the more comfortable we became. He was completely supportive during this process. This was not an easy move for us, as we had been in the home 32 years collecting everything under the sun. He was extremely accommodating when it came to scheduling the move and then scheduling the unloading down here in Florida. This was a permanent move for us, so scheduling became quite critical. Everything arrived on time, unscratched, unbroken and nothing was missing. I can't say enough about Dave and his crews, both in New England and down here in Florida. I would recommend him highly. The day my friend gave me that piece of paper was the best part of my move to FL.
