They did a fantastic job and they were professional. I am happy with the results and I do not have any complaints. Three workers came out to do the work and it took about 2.5 hours to complete. Scheduling went well also.

I've used Karl for the last few years to maintain my trees and shrubs. My experience has always been great. Karl makes it a point to give written estimates with exact locations of trees/shrubs. This year I had him hard prune some crab apples and when I got the estimate I called and said and quot;by the way - please trim the bottoms of my pine hedgeand quot;. When I arrived home they trimmed the wrong hedge. I called Karl and he was very apologetic, although I took responsibility as well. He sent the crew back in 30 minutes and they trimmed the right hedge. He made an adjustment to the invoice (which I did not ask for) and I remain a happy customer.
Karl has all the arborist equipment needed and good crews.

We had a large tree limb that was about 30 feet up and not attached to anything so it was kind of an emergency situation; we did not want it to fall down on somebody. He came out right away, gave us an accurate estimate and then took care of it. Carl is a certified arborist. We thought he was going to come one week but he came the next.

Overall it went very well. As with all estimates, it's best to be present when defining the job. He came to the house and left me a detailed estimate describing each task and the cost. This was good because I wanted a maple trimmed of a few suckers and he priced the job to trim a honey locust which would have added greatly to the cost.

I don't know if we got their name from Angie's List, but we did take a few quotes from people that were on Angie's List. The experience with Trees Unlimited was good. The price was very reasonable. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

It turned out very well. Their cleanup was exactly to my specifications; they took everything except the size that I wanted them to leave. They are a little pricey but I am hesitant to go with someone less professional with something that has risks like that.
