Top Notch Tree

Russ, the owner, responded quickly to come and give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable for the work being done. He came within a few days with a nice crew of two hard working, polite men, who did the work efficiently and put all the debris through a chipper. They then raked the yard clean. I was very impressed with the high level of customer service and work ethic.

Russ, the owner, arrived right on time and evaluated the trees in my yard. I had used his services before, when he had come to trim the branches back. He gave me his opinion that the tree in question was nearing the end of its life, and would not tolerate another trimming. We agreed it would be more cost-effective to take it down before it suffered further storm damage.
Russ's crew had a big job coming up, but he managed to fit me in before getting started on it. Less than a week went by between the time I called for an estimate and the job was completed.The experience was everything I could have asked for: he and his crew showed up promptly, worked diligently until the job was done, then did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Added bonus is that he is a local guy, and that he operates the bucket truck and oversees the job himself, rather than just being the contact person.
As others have noted, he is also a very nice person and is generous in sharing his expertise. I didn't do a lot of comparison shopping, but the price seemed reasonable considering the size of the tree.
I would recommend him without reservation.

They were very good! The price was good. The guy was very courteous and very nice. They cleaned up everything after they cut them down. They put it through a chipper so it wasn't just the branch on the ground. It was just gone. They chipped and took the entire saw dust away.

Based on past reviews on angie's list I called top notch tree to remove a very large tree that had fallen on my Mother's property, as well as trimming branches that were touching the barn roof. Russell White, the owner, returned my call promptly, and went out the next day to look at the tree and give a free estimate. He was punctual, polite and very professional. On the day of the scheduled work, he and his crew were on time and got right down to business. They did an amazing job removing the tree and chipping the wood, but you'd never know since they cleaned up the area so thoroughly! It was as if they were never there! The branches that they cut back on another tree were also done well, the tree doesn't looked "hacked;" it's balanced and looks great. I would recommend Top Notch Tree with no reservation - they are wonderful!

The owner Russell White returned my phone call and looked at the job all in the same day. We walked through the yard and discussed what needed to be done. Russ was very courteous and set up the day he could do the job at the estimate he quoted me. Everything was done in a half a days time to my satisfaction. I recommend Top Notch Tree Services. A very professional company. The owner was on site till the whole job was finished.

They did a really great job. They chopped it off and did such a great job. We asked them to chop it in a certain way so we could use the wood later and he did exactly what we asked. The experience was absolutely perfect, there was nothing wrong with it. The pricing was fine, I was even able to bargain with him a little bit.

The gentleman who came out was very nice. He came out on a Saturday because I didn't have much time through the week. He was punctual and he did a quick estimate. I was able to talk him down in price. He did the work and cut up the tree exactly as I asked him to. He took all of the unnecessary parts away and left everything I asked him to, too. It was great and he was a nice guy to work with.
