Scott's Siding & Remodeling

We contracted with Gene Scott for replacement windows on our second floor in 2018. They did such a good job and the windows made such a difference that we hired them for the downstairs windows and doors in 2019. I had been told by a friend that replacement windows take a long time to "pay you back" but these have made such a difference in our quality of life that i would recommend to anyone. The crew cleaned up well after they finished, Gene came around to make sure everything was done well, and we would definitely use their services again.

Chris Scott and Don Roberts have been fantastic to work with. I keep adding projects to their list and they just keep saying "yes, we can do that for you!" I am a busy professional and just wanted to put this big project into someone's hands that I could trust to handle it and get it done. From dealing with our difficult building inspector to my insurance company, everything has gone smoothly. They have both been extremely easy to work with and responsive! Don't chase your contractor, just call Scott's Siding and put the job in their hands.

It went well.  They did what they said they were going to do on time and on budget.

I had a leak in he roof around a dormer. They responded very quickly to my call. They came and looked over the job and recommended replacing the roof instead of trying to fix the leak. They came back with an estimate that was reasonable and less than what I paid to have the roof done originally 22 years before. The brought a dumpster in. They came to the roof when they said they would. They stripped the old roof and replaced the roof. They were very careful not to damage the bushes around the house. They cleaned up after themselves even gong over the yard around the house with a magnet to insure they picked up all of  the nails. I have not had any leaks or problems with the roof.  I would use them again In the future.

Scott, the owner of the business, was professional from the start.  He was clear in his explanation of what needed to be done.  He provided all certificates for the proposal. The job took about 3 days. The final result looked great.  Quality workmanship and quality materials.  All employees were courteous and helpful . . . and they cleaned up after themselves when the job was done.  I would recommend this company to anyone seeking a quality roof for their home.

The proposed contract Scott did was clear. Because of the mild winter the job started in February. We can't say enough about the professionalism, dedication and integity of Scott's workcrew, especially Arthur. At the end of every work day the crew picked up any debri and placed it in the dumpster. Also they covered and secured any materials at the end of each day.

A few of our neighbors have commented that after seeing the quality of work Scott's Siding does they wished they knew about him before. One neighbor said they had called Scott's to get a proposal to redo siding they had done only 2 years ago by another vendor.

Many of our neighbors have commented that our house and quot;looks beautifuland quot;.

We began taking quotes in Spring. The job included vinyl siding, shutters, new gutters and installation of one picture window. We selected Scott's Siding based upon their competitive price and good reputation. Overall we were pleased with the results. Our only criticism we have was that we were lead to believe they were available to begin the job in early summer but as it turned out the job didn't start until September. This was partially our fault as we took a couple of weeks to negotiate the details of the job, however, during that negotiation period there was no communication/indication that their schedule was filling up. Overall the job went as expected and we are happy with the outcome. They were very professional and worked hard in completing the job. Also, we discovered 2 weeks after job was finished that the new picture window cracked. Scott's was very responsive in ordering and installing a new window. We would definitely recommend Scott's Siding.

they showed up on time, and finished when they said they would be done. They did a great job,cleaned up and I am very happy with the work. I plan on have other work done by them in the very near future.

Scott Hansen was very responsive to my request for an estimate. I called 3 places--one didn't answer (and had no voice mail), one told me I didn't need a roof and only reluctantly gave me an estimate after I assured him that my roof had been leaking, and Scott gave me a very thorough estimate, walking around with me inside and outside to see exactly what I wanted/needed for my house. He provided me with a portfolio of references, licenses, insurance and samples. His estimate for all the work I needed was approximately the same (actually slightly lower) than the other company. Work was prompt once scheduled, and the crew of workers were friendly, polite, neat and helpful. I was given a credit when it was determined that I didn't need new chimney flashing installed. Work was started on Friday (after a false start on Thursday that was aborted due to rain) and finished by Monday. The dumpster was gone by Tuesday. The one small problem was that I found a few leftover nails on the grass, and I didn't get an estimate for a replacement window that I had asked for as an afterthought to the rest of the job, but neither of those things are particularly important to this rating.

The work crew was here when they said they would be, spent the time that they indicated they would and cleaned up afterwards. They were easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure they final product met our expectations.
