Joe and Joe Jr. were great to work with. I got a prompt estimate that beat the dealership, and the final bill was true to their estimate. They called me to update on the progress of my repair and worked to get my car back to me on the same day. Would definitely go there again for clutch or transmission repair.

This was my elderly fathers Celica, who drove down from upstate NY. Two of the four engine mounts were broken and engine and transmission would shift about when driving. This also caused wiring to disconnect, so gauges would not work. Joe was very nice in explaining what needed to be done. He also came in on the lower end of the estimate (500-700).

Generally very well. They were very responsive when I walked in to check it out. The price they quoted me was several hundred dollars higher than the next highest estimate, and i almost went with another company because of it. However, the high reviews and clean workshop made me decide that if I was going to fix my transmission, might as well do it right. On that Issue, quality of work done, i cannot complain - and thats really tthe most important piece of it. However, they weren't cheap, or willing to compromise. The one issue that really did bother me was that when they brought my truck down off the lift, the muffler fell off. Now I'll admit it was quite rusty; but nonetheless it was fully attached and working when I brought it in. They informed me of it, but made no offer to repair it or pay for the cost of the repair. I was appalled, after having just spent $2400+, and brought it back a few days later to address the issue with the owner. He told me that he would have his employees fix it if they could, but that because it was quite rusted, they could not. They did reccomend a good local shop where I eventually brought it. They did not offer to pay for the repair however, and for this I hesitate to say that I would take another vehicle there.

My Isuzu Rodeo transmission was slipping badly - I was pretty sure it would have to be replaced. They advised me to have the vehicle brought in, not to drive it. They found the transmission was leaking and very low on fluid. Fixed the leak, refilled the fluid, and tested the vehicle - all OK. They could easily have sold me a new transmission, but were honest and fixed it. They also found that the coolant lines were badly rusted and likely to fail, and replaced those for me also in a separate appointment. Joe Barrows was very pleasant to deal with. No pressure, everything done on time and for the estimated price.
