Put the wrong size shutters on came back to look at the problem never to heard from again. Tried emailing and calling he would not respond. Stay away from him as he does not stand behind his work.

Initially I thought they did a great job, but the price might have been high, and the work was okay. It is hard because I have mixed feelings about it.

He does subpar work and he is over priced. They really didn't know what they were doing. He gave me a list of references and I checked and got good referencese but I felt maybe they were giving him more praise than what was due. I was not comfortable with what he gave me for work. I felt the service he provided was not good.

Overall it went poor. The storm door installations went fair/poor as he failed to install the second door closer on one of the doors. The moiding work was OK. They order wrong size shutters for some of the windows but installed them any way. The ordered the wrong size storm door. The painting was sloppy and not professional. I made Roberto aware of the issue he told me they would take care of them. He came back once to look at the shutters and left.
I have emailed and called him many times since no return calls or emails. He has abandonded the job. I suspect he did when he realized that he had put holes in the siding that the proper size shutters would not cover and didn't want to deal with it. Stay away from them, thankfully I didn't pay them in full.

It went well - Robert called back (something no one else could manage), came out, looked at the job, offered suggestions on how I could proceed and we agreed to fabricate and replace. One week later, he came out, did the work. Sent an invoice a week later and everything is good.

Robert is a great guy to work with. The work started on time. The Drywall person was subcontracted. His work was excellent, but he didn't do a great job of cleaning up. The painting work was excellent and was well done. Alex did a great job.
The tiling work was subpar, but Robert came back and fixed the issues.

The man who came out to give me the estimate was very punctual and got the estimate back to me quickly. I particularly liked the person that came out to do the work. They really exceeded my expectations.

Company was very professional, from first meeting (estimate) to the installation of several exterior doors.  The house is over 100 years old, and not an easy installation.  None of the doors were standard size and one doorway was widened.  Installations took approximately a day and a half, and each day they cleaned up, you would never know they were there.  The doors look great, I'm really impressed with their work and would definately use this company again, and have already recommended him to friends!

Furniture moving went well.  Only issue there is that it was priced at a per person/per hour rate and I was charged the full hour for 2 people even though it was about 1/2 hours worth of work.

The hardwood floor plank replacement was quite a project.  The wood (not oak) was very dense/hard so it took some time to remove the damaged wood.  The original planks were at least 3 feet long but only small portions were damaged.  Roberto did an excellent job staggering the replacement so that only portions of the original planks were removed,.  That kept him from having to use all of my extra pieces.  He also looked at a couple of other damaged areas that are typically covered by furniture and felt they could be handled with sanding whenever the floor is refinished.  Besides doing a great job with the plank staggering, he also cut all of the ends very square, made many trips to the saw to be sure the replacement planks were a perfect fit, and filled the nail holes with putty and colored polyurethane.  You have to get down on the floor to be able to see the repair.  Great job!

Odilon, the painter, was superb.  One wall had had shelves hung with wall anchors that had since been removed, leaving holes.  The others had had the usual assortment of picture hanger holes.  I knew this was going to be a great job when the prep took as long as the painting.  And it was great.  The paint had a slight sheen to it, which I wanted but I was concerned any irregularites would be readily visible.   I really can't see any.  I've had a lot of painters of the years....this is the first I'd have back.  The price was less than originally quoted because I'd bought my own paint and the trim wasn't done (at my request).

Overall, for the day I got my money's worth and the quality was very high.

I rated price a B because I felt the charged price for the furniture moving was an end of day rush calculation that was overpriced.  Since he works both hourly and by the project I'll lean toward having a project price in the future.

I rated punctuality a B because at the end of the day we'd arranged from him to come back the following week to do more work.  He called in "sick" that day and hasn't yet called to reschedule.  I guess I'll just need to call him.

We had two estimates, and both came in at about the same for materials.  The other company did not give me an estimate on labor.  It took Roberto about 5 hours to do the work (1 man for part of the time, 2 for the rest).  The estimate was spot-on, and the work looks great.

My condo neighbors and I called Roberto to get an estimate on repairing a porch roof at front of house and to replace a wooden door to the basement with a steel door including some masonry repair around the frame.  He returned our call promptly and came out to give us an estimate (after taking down some of the vinyl interior to see what was going on inside)which he turned around in writing the next day.  He made it clear that he wouldn't be sure of the extent of the porch repair until he really got in and saw the wood damage, but also gave us worst case scenario up front.  He was able to start the job within two weeks and  was prompt. Courteous is an understatement in respect to him and his team. They were neat and cleaned up every day. When he explained how a reinforcement beam would need to be added, and I wanted a better understanding of why, he patiently and thoroughly detailed the plan and reasoning, even drawing a diagram to illustrate.  Throughout the job, I felt he was working on it as if it were his own property.  He also suggested replacing the porch light fixture and purchased and installed.  It was such a positive experience that I hired him personally to tear out fiberglass surround in my bathroom shower and replace with ceramic tile, install insulation, install new shower hardware, and install/wire a new light over the sink. That too, came in on estimate, was done with great efficiency and neatness.  I also appreciated that Roberto made smart suggestions along the way, including adding a copper elbow fixture to the radiator so the valve was operational and replaced the valve. His attention to detail was impressive.  The bathroom work was approximately $1,900. I most certainly would hire One Stop Handyman again.

It went great. Robert came to my home and looked at the jobs I wanted done. He said he would provide me with an estimate via email, which came the next day. Once I called and confirmed he was here within a couple of days. He and his employee showed up right on time and they got his employee set up to do the work and it was his employee who actually did the work. He was very professional and business-like and did a great job. The job took about just as long as he said it would and I paid exactly what was estimated. Very professional, polite, knowledgeable and very clean. No sign of them having been here was left other than the improvements that were made. Would absolutely recommend him and will certainly be using him again.

Sammy and Robert responded quickly to my call and were able to start working within a few days. They came on time, worked quickly but with great attention to quality. They exposed a rotting floor beneath the tile (which they had anticipated), rebuilt the area and laid a proper subfloor. The bathroom looks fabulous. My only minor complaint was that might have anticipated a spacing issue with regard to the medicine cabinet, which required them to recess the cabinet after the fact. All in all, they were great--very pleasant, reliable and hardworking.

I liked that they pulled all of the permits that we needed. They poured new footings that put us up to code. I thought that they gave me excellent customer service. We worked with Roberto. He was timely and got the job done when promised. His communications were detailed. He was very easy to work with. He had a lot of knowledge and answered all of my questions. There were no surprises.

We love this company! He is the best handy man we've had in ages. He's really responsive you can either call or email (bonus I think), and he either shows up on the day he's scheduled or calls to let us know. He can do a lot of different jobs and he's really meticulous in those jobs. He's incredibly conscientious and he tries to get you the best deal he can - there's a minimum fee for him coming out and sometimes we don't use up the whole hour in which case he'll ask us if we can think of any other jobs we need done. We had an emergency situation and he was able to show up within a day of our call to do the work. We've worked with a lot of contractors and have never had such responsiveness.

I liked the people that he used. They came up with creative ideas for the renovation. He does not do the actual work, but if he had the same guys come out to do the work I would definitely hire him again.

Brandt responded promptly to my e-mail request for a site visit and bid. The bid was returned in quickly. The price was fair. He showed up when he said he would and either he or one of his carpenters were on site until the job was completed. He did a quality job in a timely manner. Count me a satisfied customer.

One-Stop was great. Brandt came out quickly and gave us a written estimate (emailed) right away. His crew worked well. They definitely knew what they were doing and cared about doing a good job. They were also quiet and cleaned up every evening when they left. Brandt came every morning to inspect the progress and direct the crew for the day. It was an extremely easy and well-managed project. Brandt has an MBA and left the corporate world to open this business, and his professionalism with the client and his crew really shows.

We have used this vendor for many jobs in the past and have always been pleased. They came in with a much higher bid than we were expecting but still decided to go with them based on the quality of the previous work they have done for us.
