We were very pleased with the job from start to finish. The men that put the fence up did a lot of work and had to drill and cement posts in ledge. We appreciate their efforts.

Miller Fence did a great job with the removal of old fencing and in the placement of all the new fence posts and panels. We had shopped around a bit, and although our final choice was somewhat pricey we feel it is absolutely worthwhile. The fence installers were professional and thorough, the job was completed within a few days. When we had a few questions about minor, final details, Miller Fence sent the installers back to us the next day to address the issue to our satisfaction. Our new fencing definitely adds to the attractiveness and value of our entire property -- we absolutely recommend Miller Fence as a first-rate company.

They came out during a snowstorm to help me. They were very punctual, down to earth and very professional. They were overall one of the best companies I have used and people like them are hard to find. What I really liked was that they will meet or beat competitors prices.

The sales man was the most professional of all the companies that came and quoted. The price was good and the workmanship very good. The installation took a little longer than paned due to a snow storm when the fence and arbor were half way done. I had a concern with some of the installation and a supervisor came out he same day to review and discuss the issue with me. The installation looks fantastic and the warranty is excellent. Although the crew cleaned up they did leave some excess concrete in the garden beds that I had to later remove, perhaps this was due to the fact that there was still snow and they couldn't see it.

I met with the the owner, Joe Miller, and he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He made an assessment of my situation and worked with me to find a good solution within the budget that I had. The men came when scheduled (a week or two after the first meeting) and did all the work as agreed. I wan't happy with one of the gate latches so they swapped it out when they were on the job and there was no additional charge. There was nothing wrong with the latch, I just preferred the more traditional mechanism. They were very accomodating and wanted to make sure that I was happy with all the work - which I was.

We are thrilled with the repairs done yesterday to our backyard chain-link fence by Miller Fence Co! They accommodated my schedule and came on a torrential rain Saturday. Despite the miserable weather, the 2 repair guys were extremely pleasant and answered my questions in a very professional manner. It took them about 3 hours, as was estimated, but the work was far superior than we'd anticipated. The fence sections that were removed and replaced are UNDETECTABLE! You would never be able to tell these sections had been replaced except for a bit more shine on the fence finish. The work also included a bottom tension wire on one 90' side. We are so happy our dogs are now secure in our backyard. The cost of these repairs was $ well spent!

The work was exceptional. They were extremely accommodating and very conscious to our needs and desires in terms of the specifics we were looking for. We were looking for the fence to be buried a foot under the ground to keep burrowing animals out and most other contractors indicated that they would only do 3 to 4 inches and they said sure, we will do whatever you guys want. The work was done on time without any hassles what so ever.

They started work much later (several weeks) after proposed date - stated they could not get the materials on time. They attempted to overcharge for minor alterations - to drill some additional holes in posts, for 2 hours work (done by a laborer working at almost minimum wage) they charged $ 200.00 per hour - $ 400.00. They destroyed my yard by leaving dirt and stones on the inside of the property, several feet in, instead of throwing it outside or removing it. They left wood chips all over the yard - I spent hours cleaning up after them. The damage to the yard required extensive landscaping work, estimated at several thousand dollars. My calls to the owner were ignored and my letters and demands for payment of damages were also ignored. To this day I have not been recompensed for damages and it appears I will have to take the company to court. Never again I would permit them to do any work on my property.

The install was scheduled via e-mail after I had paid 33% down. On the day of the install, I was expecting someone from Miller Fence to be at my house at 8 am. The installer showed up about 9:30, and I had to call the office to find out if they were coming. The estimator told me that the job would be done in one day, using two installers. Only one installer showed up, so the job did not get done in one day. He was surprised that the estimator had not told him about concrete around some posts. That led to the requirement of bringing a jackhammer on the next visit. The plans called for a 4 foot gate, but they installed a 40" gate without telling me. They also installed warped pickets and a substandard post. The job ended up taking 3 days, and I had to call the owner to make the workmanship right. I had to have them rework one section of fence to make it correct. The bad part is if I did not complain, they would have called the substandard work good, and been done with it. Overall, it was not a smooth experience.

The Miller Fence crew showed up on the exact day and did a great installation job. They put in the posts on the first day and came back the next day to hang the chain link and gates. The fence looks great and they also took the time to ensure that the fence went right to the ground so my dogs would not be able to go under it. They also did such a good job of clean up when they were done that you could not tell if they were there. No left over debris of any kind. I would highly recommend Miller fence for anyone needing a fence of any kind.
