 + 2 moreI have been consistently impressed and satisfied over the years with the experience across the board: quality of work, car smarts, friendliness, honesty in cost and time estimates, willingness to counsel against a repair when warranted. Julia has continued the great tradition that her dad started. I am frankly surprised that there aren't more reviews on Angie's, but I suspect that the business thrives by word of mouth among loyal neighborhood customers. That may include many owners of classic cars in the area.
Description of Work: I have been taking my Subaru and Mazda to Gardner for a number of years now, for work ranging from just an inspection sticker or oil changes to brakes, tires, A/C, generators, exhaust, and even a new power window mechanism. I just traded in the Mazda for a Golf, and expect to take that to Gardner when the time comes for service.

 + -1 moreI had an appointment and they took my car immediately after filling out the paperwork. The car was ready within a few minutes of the estimated completion time. Everyone was very polite and professional. The waiting area was clean, and they had a variety of magazines to read and coffee/tea available for free.

Jim Gardner and his front end man are th best. The car was completed in less than a day and I could not be happier. Will use him again for sure. Us guys with the classic are are picky, but Gardner did a great job!
Description of Work: My 1939 Chevy needed a new from end. they did the installation and it steers now like a brand new car!

 + -1 morebrought car in for a scheduled appointment. Vehicle was taken into bay, oil changed, tires rotated and other preventive maintenance checks done. About 35 minutes later car was out front ready for me to drive away.
