Work was good but price was insane! Commercial business should call these guys but homeowners beware!! My bill was almost $4,500.00 !!! Requested job with national average 800-1200. No problem with work but they know it’s crazy money. This business thrives on working for nice honest people who they slam with an insane bill!! No way anyone calls them back…..no way! They are a one off. They screw you on a bill (in the mail only, never in person) and then you puke. No one ever calls these clowns back. Get the word out before someone you k ow gets screwed over!! Had to fire them before they finished so they called the plumbing inspector yo try get me in hot water. Basically….they’re scum

They charge 150$ an hour and billing starts 15 minutes before they enter your home. They take 3 hours and charge 450 $ to replace 2 faucets a(details below). Its not good for me, its not good time as per google (typical faucet replacement job by a professional is 30 minutes and an armature is 1 hr). You can decide if its good for you. First gentleman came in to fix a faucet and suggested replacement. They had estimated an hour to fix 2 faucets. If you check Lowes / google replacement for faucet it takes 30 minutes to an hour. I thought the estimate was fair and called for second appointment to replace faucet. Second Gentleman who came took 3 hours to replace faucet. I was billed 450$ for it. I spoke to the service manager and he said plumber was in the house for 3 hrs so he is going to bill for 3 hours. When i asked him if I should monitor his plumber on what he did for 3 hours to replace 2 faucet, he didnt have an answer and seems to think that 3 hours for 2 faucet is a fair time. Google and ask any plumber on how long it takes for replacing a standard working faucet (its 30 mins to max max 1 hr) im charged 3 times the normal!! He also added that in case there are leaks from the plumbing of faucet, they are not responsible as I purchased the faucet and it would be a separate call. This conversation was when we were talking about 3 hrs for basic faucet fitting. It was out of context and I wasnt sure if he is warning me not to call as there will be leaks. Also no one mentioned it when we were discussing about faucet leaks or when they were suggesting replacement . When I politely mentioned that this inflexible policy is causing them to loose future business and referrals, the cool comment was "its ok, just pay the bill". I was hoping to use them for other work in home but I havent won a lottery yet and I might need multiple wins if they keep up their work at this rate. Time to look for another plumber.

I would definitely recommend Garabedian’s service to anyone in need. I was a first time customer and the response was immediatly handled by the office staff in arranging a next day service visit. It was not an emergency So the day wait was fine. The technician, Rick, explained what needed to be done, detailed the costs ( ( which were competitive), and answered all questions to my satisfaction. He arranged delivery of the new water heater and all parts needed for installation. Rick and the the others assisting him were polite, respectful and left the cellar area so clean you would not know extensive work had been done. The installation was completed the same day to my complete satisfaction. Again, do not hesitate to call Garabedian Plumbing and Heating when the need arises. You will be be 100% satisfied with the service performed. I know it will be the first number I dial if needed again.

They're very good, it was excellent, thorough, very professional, they did a very good job, they took everything, they removed my old furnace which was pretty large object.

The replacement water heater that was ordered was not the right height, so the plumber had to cut pipes in order to fit it in. I'm not sure how something like this could happen; the plumber seemed confused and frustrated about the mixup/extra work. When the plumber left, he said I should expect a call from the town inspector to set up an inspection. After a month, I called the inspector and discovered that a permit was never submitted for my water heater replacement. I had to call Garabedian Plumbing & Heating to request that they submit a permit even though my bill stated they had already done that for me. They promptly submitted the permit to the town after my call in December but somebody dropped the ball again after that. My water heater was installed in November 2018 and still no inspection has taken place.....it's March 2019. I had to call the town inspector and Garabedian Plumbing & Heating again today in order to get the inspection set up. I have never received an explanation about why my November bill indicated a permit had been submitted when they had not done that yet. Garabedian Plumbing & Heating did explain that the reason why my inspection was never scheduled (after submitting the permit in December) is because every town is different with regards to how these appointments are arranged. They simply don't know the expectations of each town and did not make an effort to figure it out in my case.

Very well. One task not completed, replacing main water shutoff, because it needs to be done by town water department instead, everything else completed quickly and at a fair price.

An excellent experience overall. Service provider was professional and also took care of a few minor repairs free of cost. The only downside was the 1 week wait time for the first available appointment (probably a result of high demand for their services). 5 Stars!!!

GARABEDIAN PLUMBING & HEATING, INC. is good. They response to my call right way, got a second appointment on the first call. They came on time, in fact, the guy came 10 mins earlier for our 8 am appointment. The guy is very nice, and did professional job, solved my problem. I like them, will hire them again. The price is on the high end, but resonable.

Technician did a good job and I was pleased with the service. The cost of the service is a little bit on the higher side.

We made an appointment for a sink install, our sink delivery was delayed so we called GP's front desk a day before to say "We have to reschedule for next week". Their crew shows up the next day anyway and are annoyed "Nobody told us". We call their desk back "Please tell your crew, come next week like we instructed you, call my wife's cell phone when you are arriving at 8am." Next week comes, 8:30am and no crew .. so my wife leaves for 20 min to drop off my son at school. They show up, call MY phone and leave a message "Since no one is home, we're going to charge you an extra hour for not being home" and they leave. I call back, explain that their dispatcher screwed up again by not calling my wife as instructed. They finally show up and scratch / gouge the new sink upon install, and now two days later we find a slow and steady leak from the new pipes ... I call and am told "Oh, we'll see if we can have someone out in a few days". No apology, no "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience", just attitude and silence. As of today, still no call back, no response to multiple emails.

You get what you pay for. Garabedian was not cheap, but they did a first class job. If you want a professional job done right and are willing to pay for it, use them. We have an old house that uses steam heat radiators- three floors, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, so we needed a big unit to heat the house. They showed they had experience and knowledge with this type of system. I'm very satisfied.

They were fast, punctual, clean and professional.

Wasted a personal day at work. This company does not seem to respect customers time, yet I was told if I don't pick up the phone when they are on the way, the job is cancelled. Was told they would come in the morning, told the receptionist I would take a half day and go to work late. It's now almost 1 pm, still nothing. Had to call, and they are running late. What a way to treat customers. I've used this company once before in the past, won't ever use them again (if they actually show up).

Rick was amazing!! He assessed the issue, he researched options, calling several sources from his cell phone while on site, he even ran out to get the part we needed from the one store that had it in stock!!! Within a few hours we had an endless supply of hot water, something we have not had since we moved into the house. It was such a miraculous thing to be able to have a bath!!! Thank you so very much!!!

We had a frozen pipe that on Friday our furnace guy said is a plumbing problem. We called our plumber who said he'd come on Sat. but couldn't give us a time. Never showed! On Sunday, New Years Eve around 5 p.m. a pipe burst in our basement sending water all over the floor. We saw good reviews on Angie's List for Garabedian Plumbers. We called they were professional, said someone would get back to us which the plumber did and eta . 7 p.m. plumber came by 9 p.m. he was done and a new pipe was in place. Problem solved. Plumber was Rick D. he was professional, intelligent, quick, did a great job and we were so Thankful that Garabedian Plumbers came and helped us when our own established plumber and furnace co. didn't!!

Service tech met the tenants and determined that the hallway vent was blowing down onto the area 6 feet away from the thermostat and causing the blower to continually blow. He adjusted the vent and charged us $144 but this didn't solve the problem. The tenants continually need to manually shut down the thermostat to stop the blower. Now we must hire another company. Here is a copy of their service report. "Service Date: 11/13/17 Slip # 21780 Technician: Seamus B. Troubleshoot heating system blowing cold air. Found register near thermostat wide open. System is not balanced. Shut register in hallway and balanced air. Instructed tenant how to adjust air flow. Installed owner supplied air filter."

From contacting their emergency tech to the completion of job Garabedian provided amazing service. I called the company on Sat morning of Christmas weekend and was able to talk to the answering service right away. Their on call tech called me back with 15 min, was able to give me a good time estimate for when he can come and showed up on time. Was able to unclog toilet within 5 min and cleaned up afterwards. It was a pleasure working with Garabedian. I will certainly recommend them and use them again

Fine, it was not an emergency and thus was rescheduled from original time, but they kept me informed. Plumber was professional and pleasant.

I called early in the morning. The company was able to send someone to my house the same day.

The service was good. The guy who showed up, did a good job, tried his best to set it up the way I wanted and was courteous. But the dispatcher was rude and demeaning. I would hire them again if I didn't have to deal with the dispatcher.
