Eddy's Flooring America

This was the craziest and more horrible service I have ever encountered. We put in an order in the middle of December 2019. Before you start thinking "Covid"; this carpet was to be installed in 4-6 weeks. Putting us at end of January. No communication, excuses and broken promises is all that has happened over the last 6 1/2 months. Still not finished and installed! Then they have the audacity to send me an invoice of how much I still owe (on the part that they have not finished). I am done with them. We don't even want the carpet anymore. The amount of time and energy have spent on this for over half a year is ridiculous. I urge everyone to stay away from Eddy's Flooring!! Save your precious time, money and energy!

Great, honest, direct sales and service. Great attention to detail and everything happened when it was promised.

All materials for the new floors were delivered on time.  Installation was also on time.  Some sawdust set off fire alarms during installation, but that was resolved.  One piece of repair on a pre-existing floor was forgotten but was subsequently made good with a separate trip to install, which was good service.  Floors look excellent.

The sales team was helpful and professional when I went in person to select what I need. The person who measured is an owner of the business. He gave me a written quote immediately after taking measurements. I checked the math and there was a mistake with the addition resulting in an overcharge of over $600 (if I didn't catch it). They were professional about correcting the error. 
Installers started last week. They are subcontractors for Eddy's. They did one of the rooms beautifully then discovered one of the rooms' carpet was not cut correctly for them. It was cut at Eddy's based on the measurements however measurements were off by a foot and half. This delayed the project. They are fixing it and we are not paying for the extra time nor wasted carpet.
We are surprised by the simple math mistakes (with significant consequences) for a relatively small project. Pleased that they are professional about fixing mistakes. 

Eddy came out and measured.  Great service.  The only complaint is that the stairs had to be bound and a different installer came to do the stair.  He wasn't sure of the fit.  We got NY style and he had to redo them.  Not a problem.  Would use them again in the future.  Prices were better than Rottmans.

It went okay. They had never used the kind of flooring that we had, it was not the brand they were familiar with. We had another company that had put the flooring in before them, I had several other rooms and they had told us that they actually had to go up to their factory to see how to do it, I give this guys credit, they did put it in but there were a lot of nicks and they have to come back and they had to replace like 8 boards because their nail wasn't working right or they were having a problem with it. They were very nice, they were very punctual but we did have a problem. It was good but we did have a problem, we had a box of lumber that was left over so they took it back and we kept waiting for a reimbursement check and waiting and waiting and after several calls, he said it doesn't fit in my car, I can't get it back so we decided to go back and get the wood. We already paid for the wood and they were only going to give us a percentage in the check, then we said we'll just take back the wood 'cause when they replaced all the 8 boards, they used up the extra pieces of wood that we had so it was okay, my floor looks very good, the guys that installed it was very, very nice. It was not the brand that they had used, it was Somerset and they were not familiar with it, obviously they had their own brands that they prefer to use. They're doing great, it's just that where they had replaced so many boards, that was just frustrating.

Overall the experience was great, no pressure, no upsell, in fact I wanted a more expensive product but when they found out it was for rental units they recommended a less expensive product.  Who leaves money on the table anymore??

See above.  They did a good job.  I've used them before and would do so again.

I am very happy and very pleased with their services. They delivered it right on time, they gave very good price and they were the best. They gave me a very good discount. They even install the carpets but we didn't have them to install it for us.
