Overall we were extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Dan's attention to detail is second to none and he really takes the time to make sure everything is done right. The work in the kitchen involved a gut-remodel including removal of old lathe and plaster walls, an older dropped ceiling, and 1950s cabinetry. He removed all existing elements down to the studs and uncovered an original wood floor hidden under 2 layers of linoleum. Dan installed a new ceiling, walls and cabinetry - the work was beautifully done with great attention paid to all details (joins, seams, corners). Other work included installation of a half bath, relocation of a door, installation of a new french door, and the construction of an exterior deck. As with the kitchen the work was highly refined and excellently done. We were impressed with the level of communication regarding even the smallest detail. Dan was great at making suggestions - such as the placement of the seams on the decking so that they aligned with the stairs creating a seamless appearance. In addition to the work Dan performed he also coordinated all permits and coordinated the electrical and plumbing subcontractors. As this was our first major remodel we appreciated this level of communication and talking through all aspects of the project on a regular, consistent basis. One of Dan's great strengths is his woodworking skill resulting in flawless molding seams and doorway thresholds. We highly recommend Cleary Enterprises and would definitely hire Dan for any further remodeling without hesitation.
