Amtrak Station

Amtrak out of the Worcester train station looked to be the cheapest way for me to ship my items. After speaking with several people on the phone about the destination that I was supposed to be able to ship to, I packed my things, purchased my ticket based on that information and showed up at the train station, I wasn’t able to actually ship the items. I had spoken with them on the phone before and at the train station, and I was given contradictory information. My items are still at the train station. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the plans the corporate is making and the people on the ground. The service was going to be fairly inexpensive close to 50 cents a pound to ship my items, which was why I did it because it is very inexpensive and apparently reliable based on things I had read and heard others say. The problem is that they don’t ship everywhere, and so trying to figure out where exactly they ship is a bit of a challenge. I was told they ship to Portworth; I purchased my plane ticket to into Portworth and they don’t ship to Portworth. They don’t ship to anywhere within a 10-hour radius of Portworth. I am going to have to ship it to another train station that is 10 hours out of my way. I am going to have to ship it through them; I don’t have the time to figure something else out, because I am leaving tomorrow. They didn’t seem interested in really trying to solve my problem. I would use them again, because they are inexpensive if the information is correct.
