I would not recommend this provider! Our dog had been treated at Woburn Animal Hospital for many years and we were happy when Dr. Rice was our vet. Since she left several years ago (she is still listed on their website, however), we have seen many different vets who came and went! Our dog was diagnosed with an illness that requires frequent blood tests and medication. It seemed as if I knew more about how to do the blood tests and the medication monitoring than the vets did. Right before switching vets after our last visit in May, the vet kept increasing the doseage of the medication and our dog kept getting worse. I finally stopped the medication, our dog improved dramatically, and I changed vets. It turned out that she was on more than twice the dose that she needed and was being poisoned by the drug. Fortunately, it doesn't seem as if she is suffering any long term effects but we can't be sure yet. In addition, the new vet has the medication compounded at one third the price, which also allows for more accurate dosing. Also, the new vet is much less expensive. By the way, the illness that my dog has is a common one - not something rare!

When we picked him up our dog was clean and they even cleaned his teeth. The service was great but the $45 a night was a bit on the expensive side.

We have used Woburn Animal Hospital for the last several months as our veterinarian for our two kittens (7 months old). Dr. Winer saw us for the standard check ups and vaccinations. She was very thoughtful and gentle with our two cats that are a little wary of strangers. Dr. Chase was also able to see us immediately when one cat had an emergency and has been checking in to see how he is doing since then. The office staff is also very helpful and helped submit the claim information to our pet insurance company.

found them through Angie's list, like very much that they have groomer and kennel. at the initial call I was told that they always accept new patients, which was refreshing after talking to several vets who were not. we scheduled an appointment easily/conveniently (they also have weekend and late weeknight hours). Our dog saw Dr. Rice, who was exceptionally nice. She is exceptional with our dog and is playful and gives lots of treats in effort to make him enjoy being there. Staff are also very nice and helpful (in person and on the phone).

We could definitely find a more convenient vet to where we live, but like them too much to go elsewhere. We probably could have found somewhere that charges less for some of their services, but it seems comparable, and again worth it for good service. another bonus is their online record/appointment reminder/health information service. Our dog loves the geese in the pond outside too!

The pups were getting there bi-monthly grooming at the facility, so, they were seen by a vet at the same time, which was great , as, I didn't have to make separate trips. The staff are friendly and helpful if you call with a question. Their advice has saved unnecessary trips to the vet!!

We have an appointment on Monday for our new puppy. We spent about $700 during our last visit because we had to have our old dog put down. He was an 11 ½-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever 105 pound dog. He had a good long life. I can’t say enough nice things about Woburn Animal Hospital. They are very kind and compassionate. They allowed us and gave time to say goodbye. They let us be with him and it was very comforting. They are not the cheapest vets around, but the quality of their care is phenomenal. It is well worth the money spent. It is a full service. They have been there after hours for us when we had dogs who had gotten hurt, hit by a car, injured or during holidays. They are very accommodating and compassionate people. They definitely have a love for all animals. We have been very satisfied with them. We have had three cats and two dogs and this would be our third dog. We have been taking them over the last 20 years or so. The quality of their care is very top notch compared to the other vets we have been with. The $700 fee also included the private cremation of about $500. We got the ashes back. You can either do private cremation or general cremation. They cremate them separately with private and there is a fee. Our most recent cat just passed away in December and she was like 14 years old or so. She had diabetes and kidney issues. We did private cremation for her. Woburn Animal Hospital is the only place I would be taking my animals to. We were with another vet prior to them and we found an injured wild bird with a broken wing on the side of the road. So, we took it to our vet at that time and they told us that they would just put the bird down. We didn’t want to put the bird down. So, we took it to the Woburn Animal Hospital and they took it in. They treated it and then released it. It is just a different level of compassion there. There are lots of good things to say about Woburn Animal Hospital. Their hours are good even though their pricing is a little high. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

Have been coming here for years. Staff are great - very attentive and caring, Our previous cat was very sick and we had to have hime put to sleep - the staff was awesome especially Dr. Schless who was extremely compassionate to my family and to our cat. Highly recommend them. Little pricey but worth every penny.

Everything has been great. He recently had some blood work done. The staff are friendly, prompt, and courteous. They are able to fit you in soon if you need an appointment.

I have been using them for about 16 years and they have been wonderful. They are very understanding and care very genuinely for your animal and give you lots of information regarding your pet and are up to date with any new treatment options.

Their prices may be a little higher than others, but the care is just exceptional. I really like the owner. I think she's one of the nicest people I have ever come across. I have gotten to know her a bit. She is just really good with animals. The people there are all naturally good with animals. I can no more cut my cat's toenails than I can fly on the moon and they do it with the greatest of ease. They're great with calming my cat, too. The owner is French and they have gardens there right out of the door. There is a pond with eager geese and ducks and its amazing.

They are on the expensive side but we like them. They are very nice, and very competent and caring about the animals and their owners. They use both conventional and alternative medicine to treat the animals.

They are very good with the animals and they follow all of the instructions that you give them. They are personable and hard working as well. They have a great staff that is gentle with the animals and the place is very clean. They have lots of room when they stay.

They also do kenneling here and they are wonderful. I do not recall what shots it was he had but they were necessary. I have used them for years and they have always been great. They do surgeries, annuals and everything. They are really great. The staff is very nice and the place is very clean. I could not give a specific price for them, it varies every time. I think you should just call and they would be glad to give you that information.
