Bill Scire the owner sold me a new construction home through MWM Realty. Being a new construction, it came with a year new construction warranty. Within months, the plumbing in one of the bathroom started leaking, the patio started coming apart on the joints due to poor construction. I called Bill numerously without a reply. I finally drove over to his office and told him I needed him to come fix it as part of his warranty obligation. He came over a few days later and fixed the plumbing. However, water had sipped through the walls to the basement soaking part of the insulation. He simply pulled the insulation and left it on the floor saying there was no problem. As for the patio, he promised to come later with tools to fix it. He never came back. At the end of the warranty year, I sent him a registered mail reminding him of the promise. I never heard back. Several months later, I called Bill to ask about the promise. At first, he claimed he was not responsible adding that we had knocked the patio apart when moving in our furniture -I don't know how he came up with that answer so quickly. Firstly, we couldn't use the patio to move our furniture in because not only is that path narrower but also further than the main entrance path that we used. He clearly had concocted an excuse to weasel his way out of an obligation! When I understood where he was heading, I told him never mind because I had another important issue I wanted to discuss with him -he owns a neighboring home where his tenants have friends who are a major nuisance. At this point Bill started screaming hysterically trying to cower me into accepting that it was not his responsibility. I didn't even get a chance to discuss the other issue that was more important to me. He then proceeded to hang up in exasperation at my suggestion that we forget about the warranty issue. It was flabbergasting if not comical that he reacted so weirdly. I found this a very unprofessional way of handling a simple issue and would be wary of dealing with him or his business ever again, he clearly has anger management issues!
