A representative came and walked over our property with us, marking the trees we wanted removed. On the appointed date (Jan. 31), they arrived bright and early with the most amazing heavy-duty equipment. We paid a flat fee of $5000 for a full day's work, which included removal of about 22 trees, some of them quite hard to access. They were exceedingly careful of our lawn, driveway, overhead electric and cable wires - totally professional. They took each tree down and fed it into a machine that turned it rapidly into chips. They cleaned up very nicely afterwards, even removed a large branch that had come down in a storm sometime earlier. Stump grinding was included in the fee, but they were not able to do it the same day because of equipment problems, and then Mother Nature covered everything with snow for several weeks so the work was not finished until today (April 1). But they did not ask for any money until the work was complete. It's a family business, and they are all very friendly, helpful and great to deal with - I can hardly say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had used NorthEast Tree Inc. about 5 years ago and then we used them again last fall. They are prompt, they came when they said they would and charged us as per the estimate, there were no surprises. The quality of work is fine.

Northeast Tree, Inc. did a fabulous job. They brought in there big equipment and removed & trimmed the trees in about 3 hours. The crew was friendly, professional, exceptionally clean & respectful not only of my property but of all my neighbors. All my neighbors were very impressed with the job Northeast did for me and commented how they would definitely hire them when they needed tree work done. I highly recommend Northeast Tree, Inc . A+++ for courtesy, promptness, advice, fair pricing, professionalism ... you get much more than what you paid for!

They were the most reasonably priced and their clean up was excellent. I was very happy with their work and would recommend them others.

We had two trees come down in Hurricane Sandy and they brought down the power line to our house. We called many tree companies which were all booked during this time due to the large volume of calls. Northeast was able to fit us in and were very responsive with the different times I called with various questions. They went through the whole process over the phone and provided an estimate. On the day of the tree removal, they brought a big crew and one point person for communication/customer service which was very helpful. They quickly removed the trees and all of the debris. The were fast, professional, and not expensive. Overall great job!

This was the 4th company I called. The first gave me an estimate, but never returned my call when I wanted them to come do the work. The second never returned my call to give an estimate. The 3rd came but told me he didn't have a crane large enough for this job. Tom showed up the same day I called, and came back the next day to do the work. The crew was thorough, professional, and cleaned the area very well after. There was some debris at the back of the property abandoned by a previous workman. They cleaned that up too, without asking. I felt well taken care of, and would certainly recommend them.

No work was done, no estimate was ever given.

A really great family owned and operated company. I have used them in the past for tree work and have always been pleased by the service and reasonable rates. I had them take down a tree and grind out some stumps on my property this time I called them. As usual the work is done on time and they clean up so you can't even tell they were there.

Everything worked out well. They were prompt, very efficient, clean and had a fair price. They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a tree on the side of my house that split down its axes during a tropical storm. A major limb was overhanging my roof so I was anxious to get it removed. I got 3 estimates to remove the tree. The tree was in a difficult location to remove because there was a 80' maple on the same side in front of it. Two other tree services wanted to place their crane on my neighbors lawn to gain access to the tree, which would have done damage to their lawn. Northeast had a larger crane and was able to place it in the street. It was amazing to see them cut sections of the tree and lift them over the 80' maple tree and telephone pole wires! My only concern was they were quite busy and said that they would do my job as a "filler" between other jobs. The problem was that it was very windy that year and they didn't come to take it down. I talked with them and offered a few hundred dollars to move up the schedule. This worked and they did an excellent job. The price that I ended up paying was still less than the other two estimates even with the additional money to get my job schedule moved up. The cleanup was very good. They even ground the stump down. Very satisfied with the work.

We called 6 tree removal companies before we could find the right one to do the job. Most did not have the equipment or man power to handle this project. Sadly, our very old, and very large oak tree was dying and need to be removed. (Sounds crazy, but we loved this old tree from the moment we saw the house ... before we bought it. We were so sad to lose this important part of our back yard). We were very happy to find Jim FitzPatrick and his team to do the work. They were very prompt and professional. They quickly and efficiently removed the tree, all the debris, including grounding out the stump. We would not hesitate to use them again and would happily recommend their services to any one needing tree service.

They are very prompt with their service. They are family owned and it was the best price available. The owners 9 sons and the youngest son was the one that came out to spray my trees. He showed up on time, and they were very easy to schedule an appointment with. They were able to come out the next day to spray my trees after I called them.

Wonderful experience with the whole experience. Estimator arrived as scheduled, provided a few options that were less expensive, yet would be more invasive to the rest of my home landscape. Of 3 quotes, Northeast was the only "use a crane from your driveway and lift the trees over your house" option. He said they would do the work in 2 weeks or so. A little over 2 weeks later, I receive the call to schedule (pending weather). They come on time and complete the job...and most importantly leave the house (even the grass where they we walking) looking like no one had ever set foot on it. The second team arrived to grind the stumps down, and left the job the same way - and even went into my neighbors' yards with rakes and blowers to get it all cleaned up. Fast, efficient, on time, and courteous. Add to this that EVERY member of the team who came to the house (no exaggeration: 10 people) was friendly, professional and really seemed like they wanted to be there. Would rehire, and certainly recommend these guys over and over.

In the end, the work got done. But, getting them to show up to evaluate/estimate my tree work to begin with took several phone calls. Then, it took almost 2 months to get them back to prune the dead branches as per their estimate. It took repeated phone calls and getting passed from one persons schedule to another before someone showed up to do the work. Eevrytime i called to find out when they would be showing up, I was told they would have to call me back. They never called back, so I would call again. This went on for nearly 1.5 months. Finally, Jennifer called and said she would be be here the next afternoon. When she failed to show up or call to say the schedule changed, I called again. Nobody knew why no one showed up and I was put on another persons schedule. When he finally showed up the next day, he didn't even know what was supposed to be done or how much the job was supposed to cost. Shouldn't this information have been passed along? There seems to be disconnect in the company. It seems no one knows who is doing what, when or where. If this were just before the hurricane, i could understand. But, I had been trying to get a specific date when they would do the work starting in mid July.

They were twice the price of another local tree service.

They have the best equipment. They have special machines which make the job easier and finish the work much faster. A storm had brought down a tree between two houses which they cleared. It is a family owned business and they are very responsive. They have a very good reputation so they work very hard. They are a little expensive but it?s worth paying a little extra for your peace of mind and best equipment.

They removed a large dead pine from my backyard. Because there was minimal access, they actually backed a crane up to my house, cut the tree down, and hoisted it up and over my house into the road! Most incredible thing I've ever seen. No damage to my lawn. They were the best quote, the most responsive, and the nicest to work with of anyone I called. I would recommend them a million times over. Jim came ahead of his crew to tell me how to prepare for their arrival (just moving cars really). They were fast, no mess no fuss, and professional. They cleaned every last speck of debris from the job and were out in just about an hour. It was awesome.

I was very happy with the tree removal. I thought the price was fair and he was polite. The woman at the store told me that the price was $290 and it ended up being $375 and I wasn't happy about that. The wood was very dirty.
