 + -1 moreIt was frustrating how long it took. Don't expect a TV repair to happen overnight! It took over a month of his time. When it stopped working the second time, he said he'd stick with us (at o additional charge) until we were satisfied. Throughout the process he was professional, honest and reasonably communicative. There is NEVER anyone to answer the phone, and you have to leave a message and wait for a return call. Sometimes it took a couple of days for him to return calls. He doesn't, apparently, use email either. But all in all a very professional service provider. It was nice to give some work to an American rather than just dump the (not so old) set and buy another one made in Japan, China or Korea!
Description of Work: Ray diagnosed and repaired a 6 year-old LCD TV that wouldn't power on. He traced it to the power supply, ordered and installed the part, then burned in the unit. After returning it to us, it worked for a while, then failed. He picked it up again, worked on it, burned it in and returned it again. It's working fine now.

 + -1 moreI was glad that we at least attempted to have the set fixed. It was 11 years old, and I'm used to televisions lasting for 25+ years....> It was nice to find someone willing to come out to the house and attempt to repair it. A real gem!
Description of Work: Came out and looked at our large TV that had "ghost lines". He took out the boards, explaining that he might not be able to replace the damaged boards, but was willing to give it a try. Back within two weeks with some possible boards to try to fix the problem, but they did not help. He did not charge us beyond the initial fee to diagnose the problem.

 + -1 moreThe TV was fixed when they returned it. The diagnosis, repair, pick up, and delivery only cost $60! I recommend them very strongly. They were very nice and professional, and explained everything very well.
Description of Work: They came to our home and diagnosed whether our television set that was 20 years old was worth saving. Looked over the TV and said they could not make any promises, would see what they could do, and return it within a week.

 + -1 moreThey showed up very quickly, picked up our 32'' set, and promised to have a diagnosis in one day. Depending on the problem (and parts availability), they said they could have our set back to us in three days. They communicated well during the diagnosis and repair process, returned it in three days, and re-installed our set.
Description of Work: They diagnosed our problem (The TV would not turn on; it was a bad power supply) and fixed it.

 + -1 moreHE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE MY TOWN WAS AND IT IS THE NEXT TOWN OVER. HE WAS VERY NEGATIVE, IT WAS A VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.
