Joe M. - Tech 273 did a great job! I could tell that he was committed to getting the job done when he first arrived on the job - he was punctual, friendly & worked cleanly! Happy to say that the drain was cleared & things are working well! I would definitely use them again in the future !

He did a wonderful job, he was able to unclogged my drain. He also unclogged the drains in the master bathroom upstairs and the drain in the bathroom of my basement. They used their own machinery so everything will drain out better. I was very happy with the work done and I would hire him again. It wasn't an easy job but he did manage to unclogged the pipes. I would definitely hire him again and in fact, I already recommend him to my friends.

Company answered my call and dispatched David, saying he'd arrive within 1-2 hours, and arrived just over one hour later. He arrived and got to work immediately clearing the drain. When he hit a snag he strongly suggested sending a camera down. He negotiated an price and performed the drain cleaning for $250 and the camera and video recording for $250. The video showed a broken pipe and he used another device to help mark the spot where it will need to be dug up and fixed. David delivered this bad news with kindness and professionalism.

I called John's Sewer & Pipe cleaning and was able to get an appointment within 2hrs of calling! John showed up 30 minutes later! My washing machine drain was spilling over in the basement while my wife was showering. When attempting to clean the pipes via the cleanout, the clog was in the sewer line to the street and my small snake wasn't going to cut it. John came over and was able to snake it out fairly quickly right from the street with his large electric snake. He was here for a little under an hour and everything is great now. Highly recommend if you need your sewer line unclogged.

Bill McGrath was great! He explained in detail what he was doing and what the risks and benefits were. He was honest and explained additional charges if necessary. He was very thorough with the job while maintaining cleanliness. We will definitely use John’s Sewer and pipe cleaning again and ask specifically for Bill! Thank you Bill!

Prompt, professional, experienced, what other words can I use to describe this company? This is the third time that this drain has backed up because of tree roots in the street. The first time several years ago I used Roto Rooter. They charged me a good amount more and sold me crystals for $120 additional that were supposed to keep the roots cleared. Guess what? The roots grew back FASTER! John's Drains took care of me 2 years ago ON A SUNDAY NIGHT AT AROUND 8PM and charged me reasonably and I left an A+ review them. I am so happy to say that Mike N. did a knockout job today! I'm super pleased and called them to be put on a scheduled clean-out in 18 months so this mess doesn't happen again. John's is the balz!

I had previously written the review where I gave them an F because they never showed up, turns out they had not entered my appointment into their system. I have since spoken with Scott McDonald who was very nice. He apologized for their oversight and offered to come out at any time of my choosing and do the job for free. I took him up on his offer, they came toda (saturday) and did a great job. The man who came out was professional and courteous. They are back in my good graces. I will use them again, their customer service is excellent., they more than made up for their previous mistake. If I could delete the previous review, I would. Thank you Scott!

Had issues with our sewer line in our condo backing up into our basement through the drain spout for our washing machine. Had a local plumber come out and dislodge some cleaning wipes, after which everything was running fine until a few days later. Under recommendation from the town water and sewer department, they suggested calling a drain and sewer company to snake to the municipal line. Called John's and was given a 2hr response window. Lawrence (#946) literally called and arrived 15min later, snaked the line, hit a blockage, tried a few different techniques for dislodging the blockage and after getting nowhere, recommended that we scope the line with a camera. Quickly determine the root cause (no pun intended) to be roots growing at the junction of the lateral and municipal line. Helped us determine exactly where on the property the issue is occurring. Spent another 2hrs diligently working to try and cut through the root growth as best as he could (leaving only a small patch that he could not cut through with the attachments he had) and got our system working with good flow again and then cleaned up like he was never there. The whole time, Lawrence was straightforward, professional and personable despite it being a difficult job. Very happy with the work and assessment of the situation as well as his guidance and advice on prevention and upkeep. It was a pleasure working with Lawrence and would definitely hire these guys again.

I was renovating a bathroom in my house when the contractor found a major clog in my main sewer line. They asked me to call a drain cleaning company and was hoping I could get someone there as soon as possible. I called John’s because I used them in the past. They were able to get someone to the job site within a couple of hours. The tech came with a large machine and explained what he needed to do. The machine he was using could snake out about 150 feet to the street. You could actually hear and see the machine struggle with the clog and then get easier as the snake went further in the line. The tech was knowledgeable and professional and offered advice on keeping the drain clear.

Great. Our next door neighbor recommended this company, and it also happened to be on Angie's List. The workman came promptly, explained the pricing schedule to us clearly, and went to work. In addition to making a CD record of his investigation, the workman told us what he found at each stage, and his reasoning for the next steps. He welcomed our questions and input. The solution has passed the 1-yr mark just fine. The cost was reasonable and in keeping with the complexity of the job. We would definitely use this vendor again.
