Very responsive. Brought in during the morning, by afternoon he had been able to replace the cord.

I brought my mother's Singer Sewing Machine in for repairs back in January. It had frozen while she was sewing. The cost to release the motor, lube and perform maintenance was a reasonable $69. However, when my mom went to use the machine, the thread would shred and the stitch was bad. I brought it back to the same shop, explained the problem and was told the sewing machine repair person would take a look, but it was probably a problem due to my mother's forgetting how to thread the machine, most likely due to her age. When I picked it up after the second repair, I was told that the problem was due to her using metal bobbins instead of plastic ones. My mother, who has sewn her entire life and has used this machine for 10+ years, looked at the bobbins they provided (at no charge) and said they were the wrong ones. However, she tried to use them as instructed and has the same problem. Needless to say, I won't be taking it back to this particular shop.

I called prior to heading down to be sure that they would be able to service my machine (an older Bernina). My questions were answered quickly and completely, so I brought my machine down the next day. It should be noted that they have plenty of parking in back of the building, and the building entrance to the business entrance is in the rear. The driveway is to the left of the building as you face it from the street, but the traffic pattern makes it tough to make a left turn into their driveway (I turned around in the parking lot of the convenience store next to them). Once I got my machine there, service was quick, professional and friendly. I was given a price for service and was further told that if there were any other issues (something broken) I would be contacted before any additional work was done. As it turned out, I only needed a general service which was completed in less than a week for the price stated. They even carried my machine out to my truck and helped to secure it to make sure it wouldn't be damaged in transit. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My old sewing machine had not been used for several years and was completely stuck, did not work at all. The man at Easy Housekeeping really knows what he is doing! He gave me an estimate for cost and timing and was accurate on both. He completely cleaned and repaired the machine and it works perfectly now. He is very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work. He also repairs vacuum cleaners (he replaced a damaged cord on my unit a few years ago and also thoroughly cleaned it). He is very pleasant, his shop is very clean and organized, and he will carry your machine from/to the car if needed. Excellent place!
